Unjustified fall A 10.53% drop in sp cannot be justified by such minimal trading as today. So are the market makers looking to fulfil a large order?
Re: Price Rise At last.
Price Rise Think the market has suddenly noticed that the price of tungsten has risen - [link]
Earth Moving Drove by the mine yesterday on our new road and saw a lot of earth-moving going on, landscaping the boundary areas, I think. Latest report from drilling for tin at Kelly Bray appears to be good. The increase in Tungsten and tin prices plus the dollar/sterling situation should boost profits. All of this should bring net profitability sooner than expected.
Technical problems There are still considerable teething problems in the processing. Let us hope that these are soon resolved.
This doesn't sound like good news for the long term tungsten price.Thor has added 68 square kilometres of new ground to its holdings in Northern Territory, Australia.Thor Mining PLC (LON:THR) has been granted an additional exploration licence area which secures additional ground along strike from its Molyhil tungsten deposit in the Northern Territory. The application was lodged after the company received highly encouraging results from a shallow drilling campaign in 2016. This campaign was designed to test for satellite deposits in close proximity to Molyhil, already well-established as a tungsten deposit. The new licence area comprises 68 square kilometres of ground highly prospective for further Molyhil-style skarn hosted tungsten deposits. "The exploration results from the 2016 drilling program provided all the encouragement required to pick up this extra ground, said Thor chairman Mick Billing. Even moderate exploration success in this new exploration area is likely to have a dramatically positive effect on the Molyhil mine life and economic outcomes."[link]

Total value of £17,727Donald Newport (Non-exec.Dir.) Total value £17,727To accept shares for fees must be seen as a supportive action of these directors and to add their own cash must indicate a commitment and support for the future prosperity of the company. It's nice to see and hopefully things can only get better.

Re: Kelly Bray Mine to re-open Item on BBC this morning that core drilling has commenced at Kelly Bray and access to the workings have been negotiated with local farmers.
Re: Site activity Yes, I've been overseas for 3 months and when I returned I too noticed a big difference in what has taken place at the site. Looks like a section of new road has been finished down to the bottom end where the spoil water is collected and the whole hillside has been landscaped in keeping with the moorland surroundings.
