Re: Solar Powered iclaude,The energy for the mine is being supllied via the grid through Western Power lines. Wolfe have invested in hardware on site and the power supply lines have been upgraded to ensure secure supply. The nearby solar units have no financial connection or supply arrangements with the mine.

Re: Production That all sounds positive, thanks for the update, any views on where the share price might go once they are in production?

Re: Production Wolfe have been organising visits (mainly attended by local residents) to the site.If you are a shareholder living locally it's wellworth doing.Wolfe hope that the contractor's commissioning team will be handing over the mine to Wolfe's operators in mid August once the mnine and process plant have met certain operating performance criteria. Production will be scaled up gradually for the balance of 2105 with full production planned to start in 2016. Agreement has been secured to operate the crushers 24/7. Wolfe need to operate within acceptable noise and dust criteria during the an initial 6 month period before this can become permanent. The General Manager is mature, has international mining experience as well as working in the local china clay industry. He seems very well rounded and had a good rapport with all.

Re: Production soon Sirius Minerals will not be making money for years (and that's assuming The Yorkshire Moors Planninng Authority give the go ahead). Whereas this should be up and running anytime soon so I personally believe there is a good long term future for the company as of now. On the other hand Sirius Minerals share price has doubled in the last few weeks. Playing the stock market isn't easy but can be interesting. Good luck

Production soon Is there anybody out there?

Cornishknocker 07 May 2015

Wolfs very future depends upon finding other projects - that maybe in the South West of England or further afield. I wuld have thought it would be a bit early in the genesis of the company to be thinking about acquisitions at present, but that has to be the goal for three years time.

I have massive concers with prem and my advice would be if you are going to be massively upset if you lose your investment, probably don't invest. I have a small amount invested and its doing very nicely, but I know I could wake up tomorrow and a large proportion be gone.

Cornishknocker 27 Apr 2015

Prem is always going to be higher risk than Wolf down to its Geographical location (Zimbabwe), although it is currently relatively stable, it is unknown what will happen when Mugabe dies - bearing in mind that he is now 91. it is my opinion why the Market Cap on prem is so low and it will potentially have a hge rise - but there is always an element of risk there. Wolf is about as secure as mining operations gets and at its current price makes a sound long term investment, with upside on the currentproject plus at some stahe they will start looking further afield.

i actually have shares in both this and Prem, both are extremely promising and one does not pose a threat to the other. They each have their strengths and weakness' and should both do well.

There are solar panels everywhere in the South West, I don't believe any are to do with Hemerdon directly. The electricity industry in the UK is a complicated mess to say the least. Everybody ultimately gets their electricity from the Grid - in Hemerdons case they have a 33kV supply provided by Western Power Distribution. They then have their electrcity "Supplied" by the dutch company, who are just a broker ultimately, they buy it off of producers and sell it to customers at more than they buy it for plus distribution costs (Paid to Western Power) and transmission costs (Paid to National Grid). The electricty in the wires has no way of differentiating who produced it and how it was produced.

Solar Powered I have just returned from 2 months abroad and happened to pass by 'the site' yesterday. I was absolutely astounded by the number and density of solar panels, stretching for many acres on both sides of the road. Electricity to the mine is being supplied by a Dutch company but details of the deal are fairly scant. It would be interesting to know what deals have been made and how they affect mining operations

There is another major reserve upgrade to come if they are successful in getting permission for the Southern Extension, that is likely to add another 30-40% to yesterdays uprated reserve. So far the uprated reserve has not been factored into any NPV calclations, but I wold anticpate a 10-15% uprate in the NPV following both the news of the uprated reserve and 7 day working. Further exploratory drilling is also going to significantly increase the reserve, as there is a lot currently in the inferred category that cannot be included in the JORC compliant statement.
