Re: AMEC TAKE over I suspect you're right on the Nuclear business BatteryManI think Wood thought Amec were selling the old Clean Energy ( now renamed as Nuclear ) off too cheaply, which is why there was a change of plan and the Nuclear business became part of the sale to Wood.My guess is that Wood will tidy the business up and sell it for 20 to 40% more than what Amec were going to sell it for. I'd guess a timescale of two to three years though.

Re: AMEC TAKE over Wood Group will probably sell on the Nuclear part of AMEC in the next year or so and consolidate the remainder into the WG core oil and gas business. I don't think they really wanted the Nuclear Business anyway, but I bet WG will make a good profit on it ??? Its good business.

AMEC TAKE over Always knew this h.o.s would drag j wood down .AMEC have serious issues that need to be sorted so will be several years to see any rise in WG
