AECOM Graphene Arch [link] The arch pictured below is 3D printed. It spans 5 metres across, 4.5 metres high and is made from 120kg of printed plastic using Scaled’s bespoke large-scale 3D printers. The ‘CNCTArch’ project was conceived by global infrastructure services firm, AECOM, who are looking to use the CNCTArch to drive down the costs of installing signalling systems on transport networks. The CNCTArch is currently a prototype being tested on an outdoor track at Network Rail’s workforce development centre in Bristol. This is an important step towards bringing the 3D printed CNCTArch to market. You can find out more about how Scaled were able to build this arch by visiting Scaled’s website, www.scal3d.com. arch4.jpg1346x898 181 KB

AECOM Graphene Arch Sorry about the typo in my post dan. It is of course Neom not Neon! Here’s an old article about which brings into perspective the massive scale of the project which has moved along quite a bit since then:[link] If VRS can just get a small piece of this pie it would be a company maker for them. AECOM Graphene Arch Good find and good news

AECOM Graphene Arch Found a bit about AECOM that is encouraging. A Fortune 500 firm, AECOM had revenue of approximately $20.2 billion during fiscal year 2018. See how we deliver what others can only imagine. And:July19 NYSE:ACM), a premier, fully integrated global infrastructure firm, today announced that it has been awarded a multi-year contract to provide project management consultancy (PMC) services for Phase 1 of NEOM Bay, a US$500 billion mega-project being developed in northwestern Saudi Arabia. AECOM’s scope will include project management, contract administration, technical and environmental support services, and site supervision over the entire design and construction phases of the project. Exciting stuff.

AECOM Graphene Arch Can anyone provide a source for more info on NEOM? Bloomberg requires a subscription to read their recent article. Thanks

AECOM Graphene Arch Couldn’t agree more dk. Aecom are going to be heavily involved in the building of Neon, the new hi tech city in Saudi Arabia and if VRS can get a piece of that pie it will be very lucrative.

AECOM Graphene Arch ToT The significant statement in all of this in my view is the comment from AECOM describing Versarien as AECOM’s technology partner. That IMHO is significant. AECOM are huge, and partners don’t just do one job. I see that this as the start of a potentially long and big relationship as AECOM start to embed Versarien into a number of thier potential projects. And AECOM are just one of many!

AECOM Graphene Arch Well done Eyeson. Anyone who has done their research properly will have known about this for some time but the formal acknowledgement of VRS’s involvement is a significant step forward and I am glad to see that the share price is responding accordingly. Testing period must now be almost up so let the orders flow. Tot

AECOM Graphene Arch The article explains more…"Aecom has produced a graphene arch using additive manufacturing techniques. It believes the method could reduce the time and cost of installing digital signalling systems and transform the digitisation of transport networks. The company’s CNCTArch is designed to drive down the costs associated with installing digital signalling systems on transport networks. Using a graphene arch that sits over rail tracks eliminates the need to attach new digital equipment to existing infrastructure." eyeson

AECOM Graphene Arch EyesonHawk2: “The Construction Index” Quote: Versarien chief executive Neill Ricketts said: “We are delighted that our collaboration with Aecom has progressed as we had anticipated. This application has significant potential for Versarien, as the volumes of graphene that are required in these types of structure are significantly larger than for many other applications given the scale of the structures being produced.”

AECOM Graphene Arch Great article published today in “The Construction Index” describing one of the UK’s first 3D-printed commercial products made from graphene-reinforced polymer by AECOM. theconstructionindex.co.uk Aecom makes breakthrough with 3D-printed graphene arch Global infrastructure services firm Aecom is developing one of the UK’s first 3D-printed commercial products made from graphene-reinforced polymer.

Samsung graphene batteries Don’t you just love Neill on twitter a direct NO would have closed the thread outright but from our CEO you get a very speculative reply!! Certainly could mean they supply graphene indirectly via a 3rd party or even via Gnanomat whom they own of course. eyeson…food for thought people!
