Re: fierce competition Few industries don't suffer fierce competition but looks like NR has his sleeves rolled up which is not surprising given his shareholding . Anyway added 100k this morning as like the guy !
fierce competition Liberum put out a note this morning on Research Tree: "Thin profitability defines Volexs industry. Principal customers are leviathans. Competition is fierce. Global PC & laptop volumes have dwindled. Wireless technology is a headwind. However, FY16 EBIT has beaten February guidance by 60%, new management continue to fell costs and their credit facility has today been extended. A forward FCF yield of 16% and EV/EBIT of 5x, despite initiating with estimates 20% below guidance, warrants consideration."

Re: price 10% down two days on the trot - anyone would think they have gone bust. All I can assume is a huge client has gone
Re: price Be nice to get an update.
price sub 30 soon, things must be dreadful
Re: Tempted looks like more bad news in the offing with a further bout of sp weakness
Re: Tempted Still tempted, still not bought anymore

Re: Tempted Watching closely but prepared to wait for the trading update on the 26th of Feb, everything is cheap now.
Re: Tempted something must be wrong and some more bad news in the offing seeing how sp has gone down 5% each day in last 3 out of 4
Re: Tempted Can't help thinking Nat "reverse Midas touch" Rothschild must be tempted to top up on the whole bloody lot. He's put himself on the top on the company note paper, and will be loth to be associated with another disaster - taking it private or flogging it would save face to some extent. The management clear out looked like that was his intention, but the silence is killing, literally.
Tempted Anyone else tempted to top on Volex ?
Re: Volex looking good Every morning, a sell of 3 shares - A bit suss?
Re: Volex looking good Some family houses round our way, go for more than the MCap of this company - Sad state of affairs for Volex. I wonder if the results will justify this ~40% fall from the recent peak.
