Re: AT LAST THE OFFER!!! Thanks for responding guys, for anyone interested I received a reply from VGMHe advised to read in detail the information supplied on the VGM website to shareholders regarding the matched bargain facility. Contact [email protected] to indicate your wishes. They will contact you at the appropriate time providing details on how to proceed. No mention of what do do if you want to keep hold of the shares with the intention of being able to trade them somehow in the future.I've read the recent operational update and I'm holding out for a miracle of some sort. Just trying now to understand how I get in position to benefit from any upturn so I've replied to VGM likewise.Again, any help appreciated.
re- listing Where have you heard or read they might be coming back to themarket Sage ,i keep my ears to the ground but have heard nothing.Things seem to be improving looking at the figures on their websitebut as we all know intrest rates in america are going to go up and gold will get hammered when they do. I would still like to know if canadian zinc are maintaining their stance at the time of de-listingwhere they were adament they would not sell, this would help me make my mind up whether to sell or not.If they are of the same mind perhaps theythink they will improve with time. I stand to take quite a hit if i sell at this price.after saying that i had all but written them off so something is better than nothing
Re: AT LAST THE OFFER!!! Hargreaves are advising that the trading cost by WH Ireland, Vatukoulas' broker, is Stg 92.5!! per trade. This might sway quite a few holders. In my case a no brainer as the share value dont even come to that! A rip off in my view which rubs salt into the wound!
Re: AT LAST THE OFFER!!! totally forgot about these . Especially with Gold moving up Need to read up on the latest posts
Re: AT LAST THE OFFER!!! Hi, I received a corporate action notification email from Lloyds share dealing basically telling me the same. I contacted Lloyds who were reluctant to advise one way or another. They hold my certificate but would transfer to a broker if I instructed likewise.Still confused with what to do for the 'best' Think I'll ping off another email to VGM for some clarification etc.Preference is to continue to hold the shares and hope for an upturn in fortune so I can trade again, hopefully at a higher SP than 3p +Any help much appreciated.
Re: AT LAST THE OFFER!!! I just had the email yesterday."Further to our letters of 16 June 2014 and 9 December 2014, Vatukoula Gold Mines Plc has announced that Zhongrun International Mining Co Ltd is now in a position to proceed with its original intention to acquire Shares of any Shareholder who does not wish to remain a Shareholder, at a price of 3.72p per Share. As you remain a holder of Vatukoula Gold Mines Plc Shares in your Hargreaves Lansdown Vantage Fund & Share Account you need to decide whether you wish to accept the Repurchase Offer or not."Anybody else get this?
Re: AT LAST THE OFFER!!! anyway, i thought this was supposed to be coming back on the market around now ish ?SAGE
Re: AT LAST THE OFFER!!! but what if you had bought on a platform ???SAGE
AT LAST THE OFFER!!! See this letter to shareholders just published on 1st October 2015 -[link] the info is there about how to get your share cert to WH Ireland
Re: What news? (LATEST NEWS) That's helpful thank you very much for your view.
Re: What news? (LATEST NEWS) My own intention is to take the money and run - it's a bit murky as to what will happen to your shares if you hang on to them. I think the company will prosper in time but see it as long term and how can you trade the shares if you ever want to when they won't be quoted on any market? I've been buying FRES - I think they're good value as the shares are down at the moment so will use the VGM money to buy some more. A large precious metals miner that pays a divi - only a small one but better than nothing and the shares easily traded. A good safe bet on the rise in gold and silver prices that surely will come... but don't ask me when!
Re: What news? (LATEST NEWS) Thanks for the update. Do you have any view on whether continuing to hold might be a better idea than selling out at a loss at this stage?
PS My online broker informed me that to take part in the offer I need to get a certificate from them in my own name for a fee of £15(+ VAT of course!) and then I have to contact WH Ireland if I want to sell, once the timetable for the offer period is announced.

What news? Has anyone received any further correspondence on the 3.72p offer - timetable, process etc? Or has my correspondence gone astray in the post and I've been turned into a longterm holder by default?!
