Re: Overdone -Violence-12 dead Shocking news. Why on earth were police using live ammunition? Don't like the reports of environmental and public health issues. Sounds like the company has a lot of questions to answer. Very worrying. How proportionate is this plant to scope of overall operations?

Re: New acquisition I originally bought in early 2015 and watched the share price slump. I stayed in for the divi but when the share price climbed back to my averaged price, I sold out in July 2016. The divi was my only profit, giving me an annualised profit of just under 6%. If I had held on until today, my annualised profit would have been 13.77% without the dividends in the meantime.I bought back in in March this year at £7.46 in the hope that I can make a bigger profit this time.

New acquisition Vedanta are in the process of acquiring the bankrupt Electrosteel Business paid for out of existing cash reserves. Looks like a nice fit with existing business.[link]

Q4 Production report RNS Mostly looked good apart from iron ore. SP has been in quite sharp decline since mid-January. If sector picks up SP rise to 900 would appear quite possible.
