Re: 50000 SELL AT 262 Recent fall presents great opportunity according to Fincap. "We think the 16% fall in the share price over the past fortnight presents investors with a compelling entry point into a fundamentally undervalued yet market dominant operator with a proven track record of consolidation and strong organic growth opportunities"

50000 SELL AT 262 that's what's done it today. probably reported late.Told still very busy.May have further to fall short term to test 250p?Tiger

Re: Shares in issue: 91,000,000 Presumably falling as a result of the Travis Perkins announcement. I don't think it's relevant. While Brexit hurts TP it benefits VCP (see recent analysts and annual report). Fundamentals are still strong and management seem optimistic about more accretive acquisition opportunities. I think this a good time to buy some more.

Re: Shares in issue: 91,000,000 crazy markets or crazy investors!!

Shares in issue: 91,000,000 Market moves 7% in two days on approx 140,000 shares=7% move on 0.XX% of shares outstanding...as much as this produces exploitable over-sold and over-purchased assets how is that even possible???

Hauler1 11 Oct 2016

Saw this in Stockopedia... **Victoria (LON:VCP) - a quick mention for a retailer incentivisation plan operated by this carpet manufacturer. What a great idea to issue small amounts of shares to top-performing external distributors. I really like that. More companies should do this.Business is really all about relationships between human beings. Recognising & rewarding the key people who help you succeed, with maybe a bonus or share options for staff, a nice lunch or party & awards for key suppliers, etc), or just a sincere thank you, can create enormous goodwill, and is all too often overlooked by owners & managers.**Hauler...watching the stock nudge down as market makers shake out any nervous retail before some more good news comes out...

What's going on with this share? My watchlist on HL has stopped showing any price for it, I only had a 1k invested but it was doing pretty well up to now.

Whitman increase TP by 13% to 426p WH note out today with 426p price target:"only meaningful valuation comparison for Victoria is Headlam.Victoria trades on an EV/EBITDA discount of c.20.0% to Headlam in 2017 (annualised). Given the emerging evidence of market strength, we believe that this discount is unwarranted. Applying Headlam’s current EV/EBITDA of 10.0x to our annualised 2017 forecasts implies that Victoria would trade at 426p, some 13.0% higher than our previous level (377p adjusted for the 5-for-1 split)"

Price going up after the share split.

Read-across from HeadlamÂ’s results confirm positive outlook for VCP Cantors bullish on VCP - "Read-across from Headlam's results confirm positive outlook, in our view. We reiterate our BUY recommendation and 1750p price target." + FX comment: "With the main UK competitors impacted by recent FX moves and Victoria remaining largely immune, it has space to both improve margins and grow share."
