Re: 4p options and other musings thanks for sharing your views and supporting arguement. Agreed...we are woefully undervalued. 3 weeks is a long time on aim. As we are so heavily reliant on small pi's, it would be nice to see an institutional investor take the plunge. Eithway and if not Im sure we will attract some interest during the next 3 weeks and thereon. Best wishes and thanks once again. freddie

4p options and other musings Dear allI guess today’s huge trading volume would have finally seen shot of YA (assuming they had any shares left to sell, as once they went below the 3% radar we would never have been sure)....in any case, any traders who had bought at 2.75p or thereabouts in the past few weeks may have been happy to take a tidy profit of 30-40% today rather than hang around. But even for those worried about further placings/dilution, I think that risk is offset by the very low mcap already in relation to the positive drug results we have seen these past few months (Val401, 201 and now 101) and I suspect the Board have more positive news in store to keep PIs sweet at the AGM, so I’m anticipating more RNSes in the next 3 weeks. Furthermore, they’ve only in February awarded themselves the 4p options, which in number are at least double some of their current holdings and if I’ve read the RNS correctly, all their prior options are priced much higher (“*existing options are exercisable at a price between 43.125p - 125p” it says in the RNS). So you would think that 4p should be the lowest ceiling for any sp and it would seem absurd to sell below that price unless one was a short term trader (as per my first paragraph). All in all, I feel therefore the sp should be in an upward trajectory from here with 1) YA gone, 2) more positive news hopefully before the AGM, and 3) BoD options priced 30% higher than the current sp...Just my humble opinion, djmh

Re: How the market reacts! Apologies for my hot-headedness. If the product is in a genuinely good state the then dilution should be at a premium to the market cap and cash burn indicates future value. I have suffered under for example when the strength of their product went downhill and hand on heart there must have been in the past some negatives be it trials or external competition. From cr12 million market cap, I am hopeful fundraising should be progressively at a higher price to the last one if they deliver on results like VAL101. Especially given the historic spend that can be flipped into a positive for new investors.

Re: How the market reacts! Now hang on Johandesilva.I have done plenty of research into VAL. Check the posts going back years.I make it quite clear I have been out of pocket most of the time I have been a holder and that the current shares are effectively the profits from getting out on a spike at around 7p. VAL have no income and have chosen to do research outside of an academic institutional environment choosing to go public on AIm and using investors to pay for the research and wages they could only dream of if they were in the public sector or a research arm of a university. They have taken money from investors for years knowing that they would be back for more and more wiping out the value of the original seed investors. It is fair to say they went public too early (IMHO) and have had scant regard for the losses incurred by those early investors. Research should have been much further ahead before they went public is my opinion. But , as they say a fool and his money are soon parted! They do have some excellent compounds and are approaching commercial viability as they so crassly announced recently when they bragged about them now becoming an 'investable proposition', tough luck on those who hopelessly funded the years of research when by implication they were not an investable proposition! It is my judgement that we can expect some other exit points in the future and I will buy more when the share price drops to 2.5p. In the meantime it is possible that some sort of deal will be struck so I'm sitting on the current 50,000 regardless because having invested for so long I would hate to miss out if it did happen. Call it a sentimental indulgence. As for the top up at 2.5p, that would be for trading.AIMHO and DYOR

Re: How the market reacts! "Up, then another RNS very soon raising more funds with more dilution. Then down again. Same old, same old."Tired and Confused , I do not post here ever but if the above is what you feel it should be you who needs to DYOR. This is a company that does not sell anything. The entire model is based on raising more funds and investors who buy in here and all other stocks like will know this. Biophama is high risk and some of may gain a high reward. Timing is everything and investors need a bit of luck.

Re: How the market reacts! Interesting synopsis, we all wish we had sold at 7p thats the key there, you timed that absolutely spot on. Whatever price you buy now is doubling up so try not to miss out if the next round of funding (you suggest) doesnt come as a partnership deal is sealed. Then you would kick yourself if you havn't bought back and its 7p again.

How the market reacts! Up, then another RNS very soon raising more funds with more dilution. Then down again. Same old, same old.My current holding of 50,000 shares are 'free' having got out leaving the profit in shares on the last spike after years of averaging down to keep up with the massive dilution.Since then the shares have dropped 37% against my last trade which was something over 7p.I have been waiting to top up at 2.5 pence or lower but although some say they have been able to buy recently at 2.4p my limit order never triggered?I don't trust the management output from VAL. All evidence from the past suggests that this is a firm that you sell on news.I am sitting tight and holding my 50,000 shares because I do believe that there is a possibility of profitable outcome and for my current 'peanut holding' it really doesn't matter whether the shares go up a few pence or down a few pence. I'm in to see the last card turned, for the fun of it.If I were a trader who wasn't playing with 'free shares' I would be setting a stop loss and reviewing it hourly today as the share price rises and then, with discipline, allowing it to trade out when the share price falls back.I still have an order in for a few more shares at 2.5p and fully expect to get another shot at picking them up when the price crashes when the next lot of funding is announced.Good Luck AllAIMHO and DYOR

Re: RNS Strong start to the day, opened at 3.6, lets see where it goes from here, got to break the 4p barrier soon IMHO

Absurdly low mcap Can’t believe what a low mcap VAL has presently with Val401, va201 and Now val101 positive results- this sleeping giant is gonna get taken over sooner rather than later by big pharma!IMHODjmh
