Re: Qualified for ISA? IT DOESN'T HAVE IT'S OWN ISA SCHEME

Qualified for ISA? Against Greencoat on this site, under Purchase Information, is is shown "ISA: No. " How come I had no problem buying it in an ISA on 31-12-2014? Change of rule since then perhaps?

a bit odd The way this company accounts for its wind farms strikes me as a bit odd, rather than value the turbines as a fixed asset like any utility would they seem to prefer to model the thing and use DCF , There is no way as far as I can tell of seeing what the depreciation charge they are using for these farms, the turbines only last about 15 years in many cases if they are diving out all the cash thats generated then a 6% dividend is not going to make up for the fact that in 15 years your wind farm is worthless as the maintenance of the aging turbines is costing more than the reduced ammount of electricity they are producing. The companies presentations dont seem to want to reveal the depreciation policy which makes me very suspicious , In the US the Yieldcos have been hammered recently as these issues come to light, I am surprised these uk ones have not also been hit....

iii showing SP up but actually down SP fell today from 105.25 to 103.00, -2.14%[link] a big fall for this low volatility share, wonder why?

Re: Dividend statement Yes - it's not a great company for divulging lot's of info. Quite happy with latest update though and also the move to quarterly dividends. Given that the overall dividend is fixed, then paying it quarterly means the cash is in my hands for longer than if paid bi-annually - a good thing.I plan to increase my holding in this share this year, but will have to wait until April for the next tax years ISA allowance.Cheers,

Dividend statement for PJ - I am sure I read an article on Tuesday on 3i but cannot find it. Anyway, a reassuring update particularly regards forward dividend guidance. I was hoping to be able to read an income statement as I would like to know more about the dependence on government support as a proportion of total income, also I'd like to know more about writedowns as I know nothing about the lifetime of a windfarm. Happy with the income though, happy also with the market´s response after the higher volume sell-offs earlier this week. I´d just like to know a bit more.

Re: where is today´s statement?? Hi yorkists,I'm curious about why you're surprised? I never saw any suggestion from Greencoat that the results and div announce would be earlier in the week. Their website has merely indicated "end of Jan"Cheers,

Re: where is today´s statement?? just had an email back from company saying dividend will be announced Friday??

yorkists 28 Jan 2015

where is today´s statement?? it´s not on the company website, neither on here or Digitallook. Has anyone got a link?? Did it include a business update? I was expecting a divi of 3p + ...

Re: Why the sudden drop this week? Thanks PJ

PJ Foster 27 Jan 2015

Re: Why the sudden drop this week? Div announcement is due this week, so no, it has not gone ex-div yet. If you buy this week, you will get the Dividend of 3 point something pence a share at the end of March (a month later than last year)Cheers,

Rhigos 27 Jan 2015

Re: Why the sudden drop this week? Last year they went ex-div on 29/01/2014. Has the ex-div date been announced for this year?Wondering if this is a buying opportunity. I would not mind topping up as they do pay a good dividend. Up nearly 1% today when market down, perhaps a bounce from recent falls. Showing a lot more volatility than usual for this share.

Re: Why the sudden drop this week? two things; the fact that energy prices are generally under pressure and more worryingly perhaps is that the company is due to issue its results this week.
