Re: Prospectus I am told the prospectus may be on the company website tomorrow

Re: Prospectus I phoned Capita registrars. They don't understand what is happening so have promised to investigate and come back to me....

Re: Prospectus No Secure message so rang a second time, not very helpful Interactive Investor. The second chap did actually check with corporate actions team and came back to me direct, basically they have not been contacted by Greencoat so they cant "push out" an action to shareholders until they do.There was some gumf about a date in November and I pointed out shares will be issued before then and offer closes on 17th.So I will await a secure message to say I have a corporate action, hopefully in time to allow me to juggle accounts. Oh look a unicorn! Keep dropping then and maybe we wont need the corporate action

Chairman's letter 28th September The Chairmans letter which we have received clearly states "The Company intends to issue up to 500 million New Shares pursuant to the Share IssuanceProgramme in various Tranches, with the first Tranche, being launched today, comprising the InitialOffer for Subscription and the Initial Placing."Therefore there MUST be an offer for subscription. However it goes on to say "Each subsequent Tranche will comprise a placing on similar terms to the Initial Placing and may,at the discretion of the Company, in consultation with RBC, comprise an offer for subscriptioncomponent (on similar terms to the Initial Offer for Subscription)."That suggests that future issues MAY NOT include an offer for subscription.Personally, I will be phoning the company tomorrow to clarify the situation.

Re: Prospectus No problem with the company raising money in this way, but the delay in issuing the prospectus is rather concerning. I wonder if they have decided to ditch the offer for subscription and just go ahead with a placing - pity if that is the case, as I would like to have applied for some shares in the offer.

Re: Prospectus This is the way the trust raises cash for further expansion. If you consult the web site you will see previous issues. The share price does fall when issues are made as you will see from an examination of the history

Re: Prospectus Presumably refers to this:[link] have never encountered this sort of offer before. Is the fall in share price a result of the announcement?

Re: Prospectus Be interested to hear response

Re: Prospectus Rang up this morning about the same issue, awaiting a secure message reply.

Re: Share or IT? Noted with thanks

Re: Share or IT? budu,I am considering buying Greencoat to add to my substantial Real Estate and Infrastructure Portfolio. All the infrastructure companies in the Portfolio are classified under Equity Investment Instruments and most (but not all) the companies that invest in Real Estate have set themselves up as Real Estate Investment Trusts. HICL is an infrastructure company which is on my watch list. Looking at the Hargreaves Lansdown website it is also classified under Equity Investment Instruments.Whether a company is a REIT or an Equity Investment Instrument doesn't really matter; both types of company provide asset backed income.

Share or IT? I believe UKW is an investment trust. If so, why is it included under shares? The rest of my ITs (HDIV, HICL, IPE, CTY and P2P) are correctly filed.

Re: Bond yields and utilities I decided to hold as well.Normally the SP of UKW is not volatile. Anyone got any theories as to SP should jump up 2.28% today? It was my biggest cash and percentage riser in my 40 odd shares today.

PIE-EATER 06 Jan 2017

Re: Bond yields and utilities There is a bit of logic there, but where would I get 5.31% RPI index linked, when RPI is going to increase because of the devaluation of the pound following Brexit? (Slight simplification as probably not fully RPI linked but you get the picture)Happy to hang on as things stand.PE
