Special Dividend The announcement today of a special divi should give the share price a "leg up" IMO... at the current exchange rate ($1 = 0.8 GBP), that is about 4p per share, giving a return ov over 8% on the current ask price. Nice!Starchaser2

Capital Reduction The company is proposing to apply to the courts to have $89m surplus capital released for distribution as dividends or similar...... It's supposed to leave the original shares untouched (I think).Does this explain the recent steady purchases of shares?Look at the TSB website for details.

Re: Breaking even at last Given roughly 86% of the TSG shares are held by the URL fund or company management, the total free float on this is about 15 million shares, hence not a lot of of liquidity. It won't take much in the way of buying activity to push this share price up quite sharply - downside is it potentially comes down just as quick if people try and sell.Gus.
