So, Ripley! Tesco around these levels are at 20 years lows (so much for time) Not sure that’s correct sara ? maybe i am wrong . Was it West Ham who won the title in 2014 .
Store visit re-assures TSCO XXXX Just had a look long term ( longish ) June 2017 168p… July 2018 rise to 260p . 55 % … Shorter’s short term maybe …
So, Ripley! Its nice to see a Girl playing and interested in this game.
So, Ripley! I hope you’re correct for your sake. You made the remark that you made more in one day than you would have if it had been held in a bank account for a year. Remember what I told you about self control & greed. This is some thing you need to look at within yourself because it will determine success or failure. All I will say is good luck if you continue to hold Tesco, the good times are over. Tesco around these levels are at 20 years lows (so much for time) I for one am a long term bear of Tesco, nothing has changed my mind. Sell Tesco, to me. What are your reasons you think they are worth buying? Even at these levels they look pricey. I think Tesco, carry a greater risk than you want to imagine. Look at the goings on in France, Belgium & Holland. Exactly the same thing is happening in the UK but it is being hidden with all this Britexit. Personally I would avoid any thing retail. Consumer discretionary spending is a key word with Tesco. If the UK is at record employment why has Tesco been on its knees for a large swath since 2008? Tesco has long, long lost its way, I don´t think the revival is coming just yet. My goal of sub 100p I think is still very much on the cards. It´s bloody cold here now! It´s about common sense no which programmes you watch on TV!!!
So, Ripley! Just seen this Sara I did not even notice . I see its 194 today . I am not a day trader you might of misunderstood when i made the remark about 5 % With hindsight your advise was correct , its about time with me.
Why is Tesco going up today?
Alphavalue note on research tree. "After three years of decline, Tesco has shown a second consecutive quarter of sales growth in the UK. In its domestic market, sales increased by 0.3% lfl despite the steady challenging environment with continued deflation and stiff competition from the discounters Aldi and Lidl. There was a deflationary impact of c.-0.7% on total UK lfl sales. International lfl sales climbed (+3.0%) due to the positive result from both Asia and Europe, leading to a 0.9% rise on a lfl basis over this Q1 16/17."
