Re: Bonus Shares I had this repsonse from iii this morning..The cash from the recent TSB corporate action will be paid onto your account shortly, this usually takes around 4-6 weeks from the corporate action closure date. Once paid you will be able to view this within the 'Statements' tab of your online account. I can confirm that the bonus shares will not be included in this payment, the cash is not due to be received until June for the additional shares.Tops
Re: Bonus Shares Hi, Anyone know when the money is supposed to be paid (including the bonus)? - All I see is that my shares have gone from iii into some escrow... Didn't see that mentioned on any correspondence. Thanks
Re: Bonus Shares Ripley,The offer is now unconditional and open till further notice. So you should be able to accept.See RNS on Friday evening from TSB.nk
Re: Bonus Shares I don't think so but the word is the deal will happen anyway, just a guess.
Re: Bonus Shares I have missed the acceptance deadline will they offer it again ?
Re: Bonus Shares its written in the terms of the takeover, if your broker does not pass the cash equivilent of your bonus shares to you (at the takeover price) they will be breaking the law. just call them up and ask what day they would like to go to court and youd have a wad of cash in you bank in minutes. all saying no will do is slow down your payments.
Re: Bonus Shares I know what you mean, but hey ho.
Re: Bonus Shares I decided not to accept on mine. I cannot be 100.00000% sure that I won't miss out on my free £129.10 worth of extra shares.
Re: Bonus Shares What ever the case. This way we get money in timely fashion rather tthan waiting for until they have concluded. Wow seriously pleased to be getting bonus too!
Re: Bonus Shares That's right - I have accepted the offer & they have told me I will get the money for the bonus shares too.
Re: Bonus Shares You did better than I did when I rang them up, the only answer I got was "iii" is an execution only account so they would not tell me my options. That said do, by what they said to you mean if we accept the £3.40 in the corporate action section before the 04-05-15 we will get the bonus shares ? even though it will not be 12 months.
Bonus Shares My TSB shares are held in my iii account, so I wrote to them to ask how the bonus shares would be dealt with. Here is there reply, so we can all breath easily!"I can confirm that the bonus shares will be included in your instruction, we will receive a payment for the shares you would have received in June and this will be forwarded to all clients. "
Re: corporate action - I still don't understand - it sounds as if Lloyds still intends to honour its bonus share scheme, even if the sale to Sabadell goes ahead, but will those who accept the offer still qualify?
Re: corporate action From Hargreaves Lansdown What happens to the TSB Shares under the IPO Bonus Share Scheme? The Company has announced At the time of the IPO of TSB in June 2014, Lloyds implemented a bonus share scheme pursuant to which retail investors acquiring shares in TSB through the IPO and holding those shares for 12 months thereafter would, subject to certain conditions and limits, be entitled to receive a number of free and fully-paid up additional shares from Lloyds following that 12-month period (which expires on 25 June 2015) Accordingly, if the Offer becomes or is declared unconditional in all respects before 25 June 2015, Lloyds will make arrangements to pay, to any investors who would have been entitled to receive such Lloyds Bonus Shares under the terms of the scheme, the cash value of those Lloyds Bonus Shares (at the offer price to be paid by Sabadell i.e. 340p). In addition, if the Offer period extends beyond 25 June 2015 Lloyds intends to extend the compensation arrangements described above such that, in those circumstances, it will make arrangements to pay to any investors who are entitled to receive Lloyds Bonus Shares under the terms of the scheme, the cash value of those bonus shares (again at the Offer Price to be paid by Sabadell). Re: corporate action "can I ask why use AJBELL and not iii for the sip"Nothing sinister - just historic developments. I have an IFA, who I knew years before he became one, who started out at Allied Dunbar, with whom I had a Personal Pension fund, so I've always used him as the go between & for advice regarding what started off as an Allied Dunbar fund. He suggested switching it to A J Bell.
