Re: Placing and open offer Sorry for double post !My original £2k now worth just £20 !!98% down. Big question...Can they make the offer cash talk when it comes to farm out negotiations ?If they can get a partner they might just make a shallow water drill work. Sentiment towards oil exploration due to change when PoO rises above $50 ?? In 2017 ??Could work as an average down excercise by taking up the open offer, but not by buying on the open market at 2.7. If there's any chance for Tower, it's got to get the open offer away successfully, so put the cash into TRP direct, don't give it to the mms.All imvvho of course.Good luck, TP

Re: Placing and open offer to laugh or cry? well it's already my worst holding in a decade so the tears have gone a long time ago. Yes there were many times i could have sold out but never did..lesson learnt. we have no money, we have no oil and we cannot find a partner. Oh and in order to get some cash we need to discount an offer by 50%. sp down by 54% - is this an over reaction, maybe. will i take a chance and buy for the bounce - no. will i take up the offer, no. will i average down when they have something substantial -maybe.

Placing and open offer At 2.25p ...that's set the sp for the next year or so !Also results are included which don't make good reading. But they are in talks with several potential farm out partners for Cameroon. So, maybe some good news lies ahead ??Still holding and hoping ...will I take part in open offer ?? Hmmm...still thinking about that one, the terms are attractive.TP

Re: Bottom ???? (Not !) Some poor soul just sold £37s worth of shares. Must've been a reasonable holding a while ago !No point selling for this price. I think I'd rather just put them in the bin !Just bottom drawer them and forget about them until some progress takes place.Regards, Phillip, and anyone else looking in.TP

Re: Bottom ???? tpStill going down. Consolidation is always the same. The BOD must surely have some plans for the future if they were serious about the SP (company valuation). It would be good to hear something positive. My now minute holding, was at one time worth more than this per share. Glad I got rid of most on the way down. Think I would have to pay someone to buy them now. LOL

Bottom ???? We are either past the bottom or we are just taking a breather on our way down ??You tell me. Looking at the chart we look like we might be at the end of the downtrend but I don't see the evidence for a change in sentiment.TP

Re: Consolidation Could go much lower yet - standard form for consolidations. IMHOGlad I sold most of my holding a few years ago and cut my biggish losses. Hung on to a few to maintain a following interest. Not worth selling them now. There should be a bounce at some point, but I wouldn't want to chance my arm on the timing. It would be good to hear some sort of strategy of what their intentions are with their assets. They don't have the necessary capital to go forward independently. Also exploration is obviously deferred because of recent poo.(Yes I usually relate poo to dogs) LOLRegards

Re: Consolidation The iii graph still shows the pre-consolidation price I bought at.The post-consolidation price has nearly dropped below the pre-consolidation price red line.

Re: Consolidation Yes LTU, and promptly lost about 40% of the little value left !Bet you were pleasantly surprised to see the sp at 10p, until, that is, you found out about the 250:1. LOL.TP

Len Tik Ular 14 Apr 2016

Consolidation So have we actually consolidated at 250:1I haven't been monitoring this share for a long time.

Re: Directors' Purchase AVOID THIS PILE OF THURD

valuevest 14 Apr 2016

Directors' Purchase If a purchase by the CEO can't prop this up (albeit small change, tax deductible) then there is no hope for investors. The shorters are the only ones that will get a meal off this festering carcass.

Re: Consolidation And - my prophecy re plummeting to 10p took less than 1 month to come to fruition.Yes - we have been well and truly shafted but I had already written off my 10k investment in any case & will just leave it to fester away through to liquidation now while the directors get their severance packages negotiated in advance of the inevitable

Re: 0.0416 Yes, Oggs. I'm just trying to highlight the futility of consolidation exercises. Trying to give the sp some respectability and just making them even more worthless. TP
