Re: YEEHAA! Trigger rides again, whose t... Alliance NewsTricor Swings To Small Profit As It Cuts Costs, Assesses Funding NeedsFri, 4th Sep 2015 15:19LONDON (Alliance News) - Tricor PLC on Friday said it swung to a tiny pretax profit in its last financial year despite revenue more than halving, and said it is focused on its costs as it continues to source new funding. The natural resource investment company reported a GBP34,000 pretax profit in the financial year ended March 31, swinging from a GBP3.7 million loss a year earlier despite revenue plummeting to GBP1.6 million from GBP3.9 million.Although revenue fell, gross profit only experienced a slight drop, and Tricor slashed its costs and booked a GBP1.8 million gain arising from the write back of certain creditors following the restructuring of the company's debt. The investment company has three major investments in Tricor Environmental Pte Ltd, Tricor Minerals Pte Ltd and Tricor Resources Trading Pte Ltd."The company is evaluating its further needs and potential sources of funding to ensure that further working capital is available as soon as possible," Tricor said. "The company continues to look at and evaluate investments which may fall within its investing policy."

Re: YEEHAA! Trigger rides again, whose t... yes, the theory is, if they keep the share price down and look to be making losses or not doing so well leading up to 2017 when the warrants expire. that will cause the warrant holders to re-evaluate their position. my working out in April 2014 shows the overall cost including converting the warrants into shares will cost them something like 12p per share. so if they converted them now they would be at risk of huge losses. But as they stand now holding on to the warrants, they are still at a loss. so if an offer from Tricor is made to buy them back offering more than the present value, they may consider cutting their losses and accept the offer. and the closer we get to the expiry date the more they panic.read about PIK loans, that explains about warrants.

Re: FAO STBD - www.tricor-plc.ORG.uk/ Its just the domain name that the company chose to use for their web site. it does'nt really mean much nowadays. as long as two companies with the same name are not using the same address. And because there is another company called Tricor, its most likely that the other options for Tricors web page were already taken by the other company.

Re: YEEHAA! Trigger rides again, whose t... I agree with you on the risks of past investments with Tricor, they have'nt had a good track record and people have already lost nearly all of their investment pre cconsolidations,But at the same time I would say that with the huge percentage loss that you have with your shares value, what is really left to lose, you wont get your money back if you sell now,I also dont see anyone getting their money back until atleast 2017 onward if it is at all possible. so I say to you why sell at such a big loss, you might aswell let it ride and see what happens. And ask yourself one question. why have companies invested money in Tricor, usually they employ analysts to right up reports before they invest. so they must see a way to profit in order to invest, and when you consider that past investment companies suggested to be friends. need over 12p per share to break even. There must be some upside potential in letting your money ride. You should expect the price to drop,as more shares are added.but in order to buy back old warrant cheap you have to make those people sweat. and worry that they are holding on to worthless bits of paper. and the nearer it gets to 2017 and the lower the value, the more they panic. The one thing you cannot deny is the skills of the company, that has proved time and time again against all of the odds. is their persistence to keep going when everyone is convinced they are goners.I think it is fun to have friendly banter and discussions here, why not get something good out of it. after all you paid for the ride. enjoy!GLA and dont forget, there is some dilution every month between now and January 2016.Thanks Lehire for the polite banter.
