Re: Gold or Silver 12p is a given for what?If you're talking about the RNS from the 21st December, then all it talks about is TREE needing Gyllenhammar's permission to buy back it's own shares for more than 12p, or to return more than £2m to shareholders, which equates to about 2.4p per share.The interim results give a net asset value of 19.6p. the time this company eventually winds itself up it's costs are going to eat away at that, so I think 20p per share is very optimistic.I still also expect this company to delist at some point, and when/if it announces that, then the share price will probably fall significantly as small investors who don't want to hold shares in an unlisted company sell.All IMHO, not invested here, Artji

Gold or Silver Hi Was wondering what you are thinking here - my issue is that the cash drain from Brazil is eating their assets fast. The 2m in cash at Mar2017 will have gone now and the £2m or so from Hawaii will probably be kep to pay the next years costs (not sure if that was voted on at AGM). That leaves Brazil assets . Basically they are up against time (as the Brazilians running the forestry etc are using money fast) to sell and nobody to sell to - if they firesell cant see them getting much more than shown by the SP ?FD

Gylenhammar 21.27%Seen him active in UK before with TEG, where he built a similar stake. Hard to say how he did with that. They delisted and wound themselves up with nothing left for shareholders, but he'd also given them a loan or two, which if I remember correctly gave him first dibs on assets. So I assume he at least got something back. Worry here is that since TREE are supposed to be winding themselves up, he may well push for them to delist as a way of saving significant costs. OK if you don't mind holding unlisted shares, but not an option considered by most small investors.And I say, supposed to be winding themselves up, because I've seen virtually no disposals since they decided on that course of action. The positive is that Gyllenhammar might kick their a..es on that front at least.Not invested here, prefer PTF, but watched them for many years.Best wishes to those that are,Artji

The 14p is a minimum valuation at present and may change over time , of course.For me this stock is almost a no-brainer . Or oversold & changing trend .Good luck And May
