Re: Shares Magazine Thanks for the ref Hardboy. They do make a point of highlighting their criteria for acquisitions on their website, and I think this is commendable. However, nothing in this world is fool proof, and most acquirers drop a clanger at some point. I suppose he is at the stage as a young manager where he thinks if you just apply a criteria you are safe. That being said, having a set of criteria is at least a filter of some sort. Amazing how many times the market has been mugged by serial acquirers who parade revenue increases as evidence of growth, whilst the borrowings increase, and bottom line profit only increases if acquisitions are made.Sadly usually age and experience delivers humility, unless you have sociopathic tendenices, dare I say it, like Trump where you are happy to present yourself as a genius, and bury your business and personal mistakes deep.

Shares Magazine Interesting article in this week's Shares Magazine in which John McArthur gets heavily quoted. It's all about how to value a take-over: nothing to do with Tracsis. Sorry can't provide a link.

Year end is fast approaching, and we should get a trading statement in due course. Last year I think it was around 12th August.I would like to think the relative silence so far is a good omen? If there was a material downturn of expectations we should have been forewarned by now, due to their obligations to report price sensitive issues.

FRS Tracsis probably have little choice but to adopt FRS accounting standards. Expect an extra 50 more pages of accounting guff in your annual report and accounts, and no doubt an increased audit fee.More disclosures is meant to increase transparency - a noble aim- but unfortunately it has the effect of sinking you in a morasse of detail - arguably a counter intuitive effect.

EU Cash As far as I am aware, no EU cash is used to keep our railways running. Surely its business as usual? Just need a bit of noise from the board to get it back up. Its very quiet.

Enismore Always nice to see institutional buyers of AIM shares - always reassuring.

Re: Buy Opportunity Hi HardboyI don't think there is going to be any Brexit effect on Tracsis earnings, unless as you mention US related earnings go up materially (please, please!).However, sometimes the pin goes in the sentiment bubble, and it takes a while to get back to its old multiple. Even at the current share price it look like roughly the company is on a 16x eps for the forecast ye 2016 £6m net profit. The good news would be if one of the acquisitions made a substantially higher contribution, than expected then we may get some of the old multiple levels back.Tomorrow will be interesting. I suspect the downward trajectory may continue, and we could go sub-£4. Of course once buying starts, this stock being illiquid, it could go up again pretty rapidly.Whoever took that tranche of Leeds University shares must be crying into their beer.

Re: Buy Opportunity The key question is - is the underlying business of Tracsis going to be affected by the turmoil caused by Brexit. I'm not sure that it will. There is a small proportion of earning coming from North America, so the weak pound will help those earnings. Otherwise I'm not sure it should be affected too much - unless this is really Financial Armageddon.

Re: Buy Opportunity Well the dreaded black swan has paddled its way across the stock markets, and has sunk a few shares in the process.Tracsis looking well down now from its mid £5 highs. Another month to go before year-end cut off. Not sure even positive trading statements at this stage will stop negative sentiment causing the price to drift in the present uncertainty.

Buy Opportunity I tend to agree that now is a decent buying opportunity. This company has an excellent Chief Executive and Finance Director who do not over promise and are forthright with facts when asked. When updates come I expect a bounce in the price based upon the good news they contain, I have seen these Tracsis price drifts on 3 occasions since I bought in. If I can I will top up again shortly.Good luck to fellow investors who are in this for the long haul

Re: Price fall I have been watching the 3 of you in conversation for several months now. Thought I'd just add a comment. I went to a ShareSoc 'company presentations' about 6 months ago, when someone from Tracsis gave one of the presentations. I was most impressed, and even had opportunity to discuss things with him afterwards. As a result I bought in "for the medium / long term" This fall I am sure is just market jitters, and YES, as with many AIM companies, the market is quite dependent on news flashes.I'm not worried at this time - but, yes, could it be a buying opportunity?

Re: Price fall Why not use it as a buying opportunity ?

Hardboy 16 Jun 2016

Re: Price fall As I said almost a month ago the lack of news is causing the share to gradually fall back. I think an update on trading or an announcement of a juicy new contract would do the world of good right now. What happened to the pilots on North America? it's a long time to wait till November when the Finals come out, so I do hope we get some news before then, or I think the sp will continue to drift lower. However all we can really go on is what the company tells us, and the latest update at the interims was fairly positive: -"Revenue increased 19% to £14.3m (2015: £12.0m)Adjusted EBITDA from continuing operations increased 4% to £3.5m (2015: £3.3m)Cash balances at 31 January of £8.0m (31 July 2015: £13.3m, 31 January 2015 £10.0m) following acquisitions and strategic investmentInterim dividend of 0.5p per share proposed - an increase of 25% on last yearOn track to deliver full year earnings in line with expectationsFollowing new product initiatives coupled with the acquisitions made, our technology and service offerings have been significantly broadened and we look forward to seeing the benefit of this in the second half of the financial year and beyond. Given the continued strength of our balance sheet and operating in core markets that continue to grow, we remain well positioned to deliver full year results in line with market expectations.""

Price fall I don't know if the latest 11p fall is down to the EU referendum jitters, but have been gradually watching the price drift from over £5 downwards in the last few months. This is hardly the most liquid share, so price movements tend to be exaggerated. However, a bit discomforting.

Executive Coach The Roman Emperors apparently in their Triumphal parades used to have someone whispering in their ear, 'You are Mortal', to flatten any Godlike aspirations.I would like to think an executive coach would perform a similar function, but suspect that saying anything meaningful, like 'Don't believe your own publicity', or ' For God's sake don't make that overstuffed Turkey of an acquisition!', may not always be well received.
