Re: three of the best Thanks for that I will report back with all the stocks and perhaps you can set them up on a virtual portfolio
Re: three of the best Good ideaIS Solutions, Walker Greenback and Inland Hom
three of the best Hi I thought i would try an experiment and ask members of this bb to suggest 3 good share tips for 2016. The idea is to post this same message on other bbs where the sp has done well over the last year and give feedback after listing them all on a virtual portfolio. Its not a competition its to get and share information. If I get enough takers I will set up a Facebook Group with all the information received. My three are 1 African Potash,2 Vodaphone, and 3 Hydrodec.
my thought. the sort of economic news put out to day should help our sales,, companies will be even more eager to build security and safety into the work place and on the road , and insurance companies will be even more eager to lower premiums for those who do.
Re: keep dropping Be soon time to start buying a few more. Bought back the ones I sold at £3.80 at £3.40. I sold some at £3.18 so buy those back below £3 if I get the chance. The PER is high but the recent aquisacquisition is earning enhancing now but then more shares were issued which diluted eps.
pe very high very high pe at the moment, in these markets i would say risky at these prices, needs to pull back and take a breather, first stop 300p.
Directorate change So you take the guy who was head man for marketing & sales through a period of massive growth out of his board position and put him in charge of a new business stream with AA, Sounds to me like the new relationship is expected to generate more sales/profit than everything else the company has ever done?Just wish I'd bought more of these in my SIPP when I bought a few in my ISA.
Re: keep dropping Missed the boat! Hey ho! Timing these things was never my strong point. All my holding is now profit so the higher the better.
Re: TRAK I wouldn't hold out too much hope for much of a pullback here. I think the deal with the AA is significant. Maybe not a game changer but certainly enough to blow a load of fresh wind into the sails. The AA are not just a breakdown service now but also a massive marketing organisation. If they are doing some of our selling it's good news. I'm still holding my top up -for now.BTW Zulu, Merc's rust badly. you might be better of with a Jag (aluminium) or Audi (galvanised).kb.
Re: TRAK I have been trimming my holding and hoping for a pull back which I think or hope will happen. If no still making a superb profit on what I have left. Off to buy a merc with my profit i have taken. Great stock with a great future valation a little steep.
TRAK At the moment its 8.28% up on the LSE. Keep going TRAK.Loadsadough
Re: Sold Good to take a profit and agree valuation is high. I have sold about half my holding as my portfolio was overweighted to one stock. Last time I did that cost me £10k so never again. Im happy if it goes up or down short term. If it goes up I make money if it goes down I top up. Great compsny terrific product buy the dips because nothing just goes
Sold Somewhat reluctantly given the positive momentum. However on a forecast PER of 23, no dividend, EV/EBIDTA of 40 and price now 8% above company broker's target it feels like too much of a gamble on forecasts holding up.
Re: keep dropping I think you may have missed the boat!
Re: keep dropping I sold half my holding at 85% profit yesterday and will buy them back again when I reckon it's at the bottom of the dip. This a great company with a good track(m8) record and hopefully a good future.
