RNS Monday? November 13, 2015Tethys Petroleum Press Release Friday, November 13, 2015 - Third Quarter 2015 Financial Results and Activity UpdateJohn Bell, Executive Chairman of Tethys said:"In what has been one of the toughest oil markets of my 30 year career, I am proud of what has been achieved at Tethys so far this year and more specifically in the third quarter. We have reduced costs significantly whilst delivering increased production safely and without incident. We have closed five financings since I joined the Company in November 2014, without which the Company would have faced insolvency. Most recently, we have reached conditional agreement with Olisol on a potentially transformational refinancing which we will work as hard as we possibly can to drive the process to a swift conclusion." Bertie.

Lucky escape from Nostrum their share price hit a 52 week low today.....366p, what was our shares converted at 501p!!!That would have been a proper shaft, down before we even started.3D

Excellent Q3 Results [link] I was a bit harsh on the management, after all even the best O&G E&Ps are struggling, I blame GS, as they have the biggest oil trading desk in the world, unfortunately GS do actually run the world of equities and commodities.March 2016 19p3D

Re: Thanks to Olisol and Pope Asset Offers as I remember it.Nostrum 10.6p then down to 7p (share deal).Olisol 8p.AGR 8.26p.Olisol letter of intent for nearly 8.5p.I like it.Bertie.

Thanks to Olisol and Pope Asset we still have a going concern and a great asset, if it wasn't for them we would be in the sheet with the lousy Nostrum deal and our shares would be worthless as their SP is down to around 430p.God save America and TPL 3D

3Dimensional 09 Nov 2015

I think i will wait until next year when these will be trading late teens, these have got 19p written all over them, or I doubt Olisol would have been so keen to finance for 8.5p per share if not.Its accumulate and hold for me3D

Nostrum need us you only need to read their forward guidance to see that with Tethys reserves and production they would be way better off, Nostrums SP has lost around 20% in the last few days so thank god Pope blocked the deal at the price of 501p, as TPL holders would have been down big time at their current SP level of 430p, only 2 weeks ago their SP was as high as 545p, so was that because the Market was pricing in Tethys assets for them, if so I think Tethys are valued a lil bit higher than the current manipulated 3p don't you??Whatever deal is struck with any of the parties, I still would recommend that the current BoD get replaced, as their sheer incompetence and lack of duty of care to shareholders astounds me.3D (waiting patiently whilst the inpatient Market prices us down every day)

Re: Nostrum RNS 3D, I admire your optimism but I stand by my post from 14/10 'no takeover here, folks!'Bell & co signalled then that they are determined to plough on alone, raising finance in increasingly desparate deals, with the knock-on effect of ever-diminishing shareholder value. At least the deal (when announced) will remove the risk of TPL going under for the foreseeable future. I sold half my holding last week but would consider buying back at 3p.

Re: Nostrum RNS flipdalid, the Nostrum deal was a complete shaft for all TPL holders, their SP is now 460p, what price were new shares in Nostrum given at, 501p wasn't it????There was obviously some benefit in kind for the BoD of TPL to be had by the so called deal, one I guess we will never know, Pope did the right thing as they could also smell a rat.Nostrum need us more than we need them as we have at least 2 other suitors with a much better deal in the wings, its now up to the clowns running TPL to sort it, of course if Nostrum come back to the table with a price similar to their first offer, I would except, only a cash offer though as I can see the NOG SP heading south short term.3D

Tetthys' self-inflicted problems continue to mount Nostrum: 'we'll have our $5m loan back right now you clowns'

flipdalid 27 Oct 2015

Nostrum RNS Nostrum playing hardball due to Tethys' all-round incompetence.NOSTRUM RNS 27/10 Other corporate activity On 7 October 2015, Nostrum announced that it had withdrawn its proposed offer that was previously announced on 23 September 2015 (the "Proposed Offer" to acquire the entire issued share capital of Tethys Petroleum Limited ("Tethys" together with a proposed US $20 million interim funding to Tethys (the "Interim Funding" and, together with the Proposed Offer, the "Proposed Transaction". Nostrum and Tethys had worked together to negotiate legally binding agreements implementing the Proposed Transaction during an exclusivity period that began on 23 September 2015 and expired at 11:59 p.m. on 6 October 2015. However, as stated in Nostrum's announcement of 23 September 2015 it was a condition to entry into those agreements that the three major shareholders of Tethys agree to support the Proposed Offer in form and substance satisfactory to Nostrum. Tethys' largest shareholder, Pope Asset Management LLC, informed Nostrum that it did not support the Proposed Offer and therefore, despite the progress made by Nostrum and Tethys in preparing transaction documentation, the Proposed Transaction will not proceed. Nostrum reserves the right to propose alternative transactions to Tethys and/or to make an offer for the share capital of Tethys on different terms to those previously announced. In addition, Nostrum confirms that it has issued a Notice of Events of Default to Tethys under the US$5m loan agreement dated 10 August 2015 between Nostrum as lender and Tethys as borrower, and confirms that it has also issued an Acceleration Notice to Tethys making such loan immediately due and payable. Nostrum has reserved all its rights and remedies in connection with such loan agreement.
