RNS the positive bit for balance Bertie Olisol are in the best interests of Tethys stakeholders and that Olisol is a strong in-country strategic partner. With Olisol's assistance the Company has collected overdue debts which has positively affected the Company's balance sheet in the short term. However, due to transaction completion delays, the Board is obligated to consider alternative funding and investment options for the Company, alongside continued discussions with Olisol. The Company has been engaging in discussions with other parties and is now in active negotiations.---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- ---So ya'll think Olisol have given TPL a $5.2m freebie?I think more like they are making sure this money aint going to be misused by the pair of pratts running this outfit. The quicker Be11 end and Hamster go, the better.Looking forward to the payment update next week.3D
RNS Oh Oh."Due to the lack of progress by Olisol with these initiatives, the Company set deadlines, the first of which being January 22, 2016 for the receipt of the next US$2 million. This deadline has now passed and the US$2 million has not been received. Olisol has provided assurances that these funds will be forthcoming early next week.""The Company currently does not have sufficient funding to meet its requirements over the next few months and therefore, if the transactions with Olisol do not proceed for any reason, the Company's ability to continue as a going concern will be dependent on the Company being successful in securing alternative funding. There is no certainty that the management will be successful nor have sufficient time to implement any alternative transaction."Fingers crossed for early next week.Bertie.

Reuters - No more Forex restrictions From Reuters Jan 21: "Kazakhstan plans no limits on deposit withdrawal or currency exchange, the country's central bank Chairman Daniyar Akishev told a briefing on Thursday. He added that there was insignificant likelihood of strong exchange rate movements in the nearest future."So no reason to hold back on the transaction from OPL now - should hopefully get an RNS Monday/early next week.CWH
Re: NOG RNS Hopefully, once all the debtors are paid and TPL have a clean slate, Olisol and Pope will make an offer for the company at around the same price they put money in the company at, circa 8.5p and then hand Be11 end and Hamster cheeks their P45s on their way out. I reckon this scenario could well play out as lets face it, the current BoD are nothing but an incompetent bunch of wanchors. Complete pair of clowns running the show, if the above does not happen, they should definitely not get reappointed at the next AGM. Can you imagine how much of a loss we would be sat on now if the Nostrum share deal had gone through, thank gawd Pope blocked it.Don't you just love the Pope!3D (hoping the price stays low till next week)
Re: NOG RNS QRB..I am assuming that Olisol had advanced the first c$5.1m to Tethys specifically to clear the Nostrum debt. When they advance more dollars to Tethys, they will have specified for what purpose the money is to be used. Although Tethys is expecting a further $9.9m, it may well be that the next RNS confirms a further $7.6m or so was received and used to clear the AGR debt. Almost certainly no part payment to AGR has been made. This would c$2.3m still to come. Though I accept it is possible that the $9.9m could come in one tranche. Either way it is clear that Olisol are calling all the shots, Bell & co are the ones wearing the short-trousers here. They certainly have no discretion on how the money advanced from Olisol will be used. But Nostrum's confirmation that they have been paid off is the first good news on this share in weeks.
Re: NOG RNS QRB what makes you think that?..........................Simple logic based on the fact that the company is skint, it owed Nostrum $5m + interest, AGR $7.5m + interest and at the last RNS had received only $5.1m from Olisol to pay down it's creditors. Nostrum have confirmed that they have been paid, it would be reasonable to think that AGR have received some money also, if Nostrum's later loan has been settled and therefore Tethys must have received more funds from Olisol. Besides, if they were about to go under I would have thought that they would hang on to any money they had right until the end.Knowing Bell I could be completely wrong of course!
Re: NOG RNS QRB what makes you think that?
NOG RNS Nostrum stated today:Further to the announcement made in the 9M financial results, Nostrum confirms that it has received payment of principal and accrued interest under the US$5m loan agreement dated 10 August 2015 between Nostrum as lender and Tethys Petroleum Ltd. as borrower. With that being the case, I would have thought Tethys have received the rest of the money from Olisol.
Re: sp action yes, even worse this morning RPG. Sadly all my cash is tied up or I would be in for more again.presume another 500k+ buy this afternoon, but even that is small-stuff.it's now a straightforward 2-way bet: bust OR doubling+ of the market cap. sadly I think the Kazakhs are all over Bell and always have been, even so it is astonishing how poorly he has played his cards.there are some similarities here to ENRC or Kazakhmys (as it was); as it slowly dawned on the directors of these two companies that London-rules do not apply here.
sp action Stock price reduced by around 30% with less than 0.2% of the total shares traded. Nothing will be done to challenge this travesty, but just in case someone in power who may have a weak moment of morality reads this, may do something.
Re: With Bell at the helm what cou..... I do have a little bit of sympathy for those retail investors who were 'bullied' out of shares again today in order to fill the 500k order at 3.21pm.
Re: With Bell at the helm what cou..... £4000 worth of shares sold-share price drops over 11% .Absolute disgrace, shamefull behaviour. There are no laws with AIM .
Re: With Bell at the helm what cou..... Fraud is the word you are lucking for, not the euphemism 'bullied'.
