Re: Major shareholders Isn't Luc Van Schil who purchased something like 97 million shares in TMZ earlier this year a doctor or someone associated with the medical industry in Holland? Perhaps he came aboard because of Sensium. If so where does that leave his investment? We must hope that how ever much the windfall is that TMZ has taken on board does not disappear in the form of increased salaries and bonuses for those "who matter."TJ
Re: News.... Might be a while. They still need some cash cushion and still need to invest in new R&D projects if not this year, definitely in a year's time.Disappointed by the outcome because SensiumVitals was the major driver for my investment in Toumaz.
Re: News.... I wonder what the dividend policy will be going forward? If they are generating cash and not spending on R&D then we may begin to see some distribution.
Re: News.... Both relieved and disappointed at the same time. Relieved in that financially TMZ was being pulled down by Sensium, disappointed that this potential gold mine was not monetised.TMZ should now be a cash generative if not particularly exciting company.
Re: News.... With healthcare gone we are profitable. Cash in bank and the cash burn eliminated. Should be positive for the share price but this is AIM........................
Re: News.... ... has now landed, RNS confirming sale of healthcare division released this morning. Sale is for £1.3m + royalties of 2-3% for next 10years.
News.... Wondering what happened to that review that was meant to be announced the middle of this year? Will we be in breakeven territory?
Re: Step in right direction As far as I can see they only have a couple of options, they either sell,or a joint venture, there is no point in struggling along on their ownwith Sensium, it hasn`t worked so far, and is unlikely to work inthe future, you don`t have to be an expert to work that one out!
Re: Step in right direction When questioned (directly, by me) regarding the possibility of this date slipping at the AGM, Martin Knight was very assured in saying that the review will be completed to time. Not long to wait, though the share price movement in the interim hardly inspires huge confidence that the "maximise shareholder value" bit means the same to the directors as it does to us PIs.
Re: Step in right direction Thanks GP.Not sure they will be dumping SV. In the Results they made the following statement:In the Healthcare division, it became clear in mid-2015 that the pace of commercial adoption of the Group's SensiumVitals® wireless vital signs monitoring system would be slower than anticipated. The Board therefore decided to review all strategic options for the business with the aim of maximising shareholder value. Advisors were appointed in Q4 2015 and the process is expected to complete in the middle of 2016.

Re: Step in right direction SV???
Step in right direction Not directly related to TMZ, or is it? Seems to be the wrong time to be getting out of SV - maybe the NHS is catching up.[link]
Isansys Press Release Interesting press release. Does not make it clear whether these are trials or full deployments."Isansys Lifecare, the market-leader in real-time patient data capture and analysis systems, today announced that demand for its complete, scalable, Patient Status Engine platforms has exceeded expectations as it has shipped systems to Norway, Germany, Scotland and India and is currently processing more orders for systems around the world."[link]
Re: AGM Notes (brief) From Dr Dave (ADVFN) - I hope he doesn't mind me sharing:Thanks DrewsterYes, sepsis DOES kill that many people, even when it's recognised! Succesful treatment of sepsis is almost totally determined by early diagnosis and the microbes sensitivity to antibiotics. The new so called super bugs are resistant to most treatments , some to all, your survival is then done to your immune systems ability to defend itself.I was very nearly killed with a post operative gram negative sepsis some years back. It was a very unpleasant and frightening experience.Unfortunately we live in a world where the early symptoms AND signs are ignored or not treated well. Sensiums beauty is that it does not rely on observer error in measurement and recording and the readings are done very frequently. This isNOT rocket science , the early warning SIGNS are a rise in temperature, a rise in pulse followed by an increase in respiratory rate , all measurements Sensium makes, as deterioration proceeds the bp drops and other physiological changes take place. In the Boer War 1900 and Crimea war circa 1850 90% of soldiers having succesful amputations still died of sepsis. Despite new aseptic and ante septic treatments being used in WW1 50% of survivors died of sepsis, Sepsis IS a massive killer , hence the new US regulations, a very large % of deaths ARE preventable, that's where we come in. But boy things are progressing slowly! Thanks for your inputDave
