Re: Latest interview with Sethill It takes time for hospitals to make decisions and I would probably guess that some hospitals will wait until the QE and St James trials are finished before deciding to start their own trials before deployment. It is unrealistic to expect hospitals to sign up to the products instantly and there is nothing Toumaz can do about it but to work with the system or lose future business by being heavy handed with their sales techniques.
Re: Latest interview with Sethill Well that interview will do wonders for the SP,finally we get the truth, we`re 2years away fromany sort of revenue, great!

Re: RNS Great News Article is old, don't know if they are still trading as their website is not accessible. Anybody know what happened to them?
Re: RNS Great News Maybe Toumaz can link up with Sense A/S in Denmark to provide Blood Pressure monitoring?[link]
QE Birmingham Trial finally started yesterday
Re: RNS Great News "Lets hope better monitoring systems don't beat us to the finishing line" My worry is that Sensium doesn't yet have the full set. It's missing blood pressure, which is a very vital sign, and if a competitor beats us to an easy way to measure BP - then it won't be good news for Toumaz. I think lack of BP is the main reason delaying Sensium take up by the NHS.

Re: RNS Great News The NHS are never quick to do anything. So I think patience is a very apt word in this case. Lets hope better monitoring systems don't beat us to the finishing line
SensiumVitals presented at 2015 Gabor Lecture Don't know if anyone has had a look at the [link] website there is a link to a presentation Chris Toumazou did last month which shows a SensiumVitals patch being demoed [link]
Re: RNS Great News @stratty Agreed. It has been slow progress, but we are getting there. However, in my opinion, I don't see NHS conversions happening anytime sooner than 2017 because of how the NHS works. The 2 NHS trials we are aware of have been funded using special funds rather than using hospital budgets. I would also expect the NHS to encourage others like Isansys to bid for projects in the future. In the short to medium term, I see private hospitals who will be first conversions, but they are likely to keep the system on trial for longer periods and slowly adding more wards before signing up to an ongoing contract. My view is that we need to have a bit more patience.
Re: RNS Great News I just wonder how the trials have gone at the QE Birmingham. surely Leeds wouldn't have taken on this trial without positive noises from the QE.
RNS Great News Living in Leeds and appreciating the influence that a trial at St James's could bring if successful along with the comments from the Doctor overseeing the trial and the Minister for Life Sciences, gives me renewed hope in the potential for adoption in the NHS generally. This has to be a major help in patient care and early detection of any change in vital signs compared to the current systems.
Re: Do we dare live in hope TheDrewsterTell me how it is going to be sterilised between patients as initial cost would I think be prohibitive
