Granny says... Granny says it is a shame that Thorntons is falling into the hands of an Italian Company. However, it is not a shame to see the share price up b y more than 40%.She is now thinking about a red Ferrari. Good old Granny. Next thingTG-Tips will go foreign. That really would be an insult to Granny.ws
Ferrero look like Gobbling up THT!! so it states in the FTA great reward to all those who held on to the shares.....unfortunately I stepped off the THT register some years ago
Quite a lot of life really.... Granny must be off restocking her tea........Lambrini - great pick for 70p, but that is looking bargain basement territory now.Is something up? Are there takeover rumours out there? Crystal Amber have increased their stake quite a bit recently......certainly seems to be something going on.
Off-Topic / Granny Sorry to be off-topic, but Granny has asked me to inform her friends hereat THT that she reckons the share price at INSE is worth a look. I have takenher advice and bought / topped up. But as always DYOR.Cheers,ws
results That the previous growth could not be sustained is obvious. So we are levelling offfor a while before management gets things sorted out for the next spurt. The pensionthing is not new either!!Conclusion: There is a proven good management team in place, thisis a brand name with great potential and it is a profitable company. The SP is halved from its top,so with a bit of patience plenty of opportunity to improve the balance sheet.AT LEAST A HOLD!!!!
