Re: Trading halt well the RNS is out and it shows a big find, from the first two drills one ma even say pilot is bigger than mollyhill. question remains, even if it is, can they put spades in the ground?

Re: Trading halt They talk a good game but are they playing by the rules? Market Abuse Regulation which they claim to adhere to certainly covers dealing within 30 days of scheduled interim reports but it's unclear what the rule is with regard to "news". I think they're requested a suspension on ASX to cover their backsides, I don't think AIM explicitly requires a suspension in this situation. hence speculation taking place on the AIM. Well, I'm down to just a 97% loss here now. If I'd been prepared to put £5k in 2 months ago I could be at breakeven but hey-ho, once bitten twice shy! [link]

Re: Trading halt they are going to release some news on pilot mountain, what that is i dont know but this usually happenes on ASx when someone hasnt kept there mouth shut so people cant capitalise aquiering shares before an anticipated boost in plrice

Re: Directors buying up I don't know if you missed it or how long you've followed this company but you need to go back to the RNS of 24th Jan. I made the mistake of leaving these shares in the cupboard for 4 years & all I got was devalued. There will always be promise here but there will also always be dilution. The only way to succeed, & I did it for a while before committing my cardinal sin, is to follow closely & trade regularly. The directors & their favoured investors will always do alright, small shareholders will not unless you are savvy, skilled & lucky. Judge for yourselves the implications of the January RNS, when to get in when to average down, when to top up & when to get out, for now I will hold."Thor Mining has raised a total of £262,500 gross via a placing of 50m shares at 0.525p each with certain existing investors and new investors.Net proceeds of the placing and subscription would enable Thor to accelerate the drilling program at its Pilot Mountain project in Nevada, including scheduling additional drilling if, as anticipated, the Company intersects mineralisation.The placing and subscription would also provide the company with additional working capital.Under the placing and subscription, subscribers would also be granted one free attaching warrant for every two shares subscribed for.Each warrant entitled the holder to subscribe for a further share at a price of 0.9p each, valid for a period of 18 months from the date of issue."

Re: Directors buying up I know it isn't a huge amount of money but is always good when they are buying, and I liked the fact they were confident enough to take shares as wages, gives me a bit of confidence!

I'm sitting on a 98% loss here from long ago having consigned them to the "file & forget" bin. 1p would be a start but it'll take a bit more than that to get me out of the mire here & I don't fancy averaging down. I do think the management know what they're doing but it's in their interest not ours. You might benefit by riding their coattails but be sure you know when to get in & out.

1p here we come Shame I paid 10p for some of mine!Are we aiming to get something out of the ground or just to get it ready to sell so someone else will get the big bucks?My £1000 is worth about 100 even though I've averaged down, this coming good would restore my faith in aim, Xcite lost me 10's of thousands and I've only got 4 years to retire and need to pull it back, Thor is my only hope!Let's hope Thors management is trust worthy and know what they are doing,come on Thor I'm rooting for you
