Re: ii's volume data Thanks Trigger, maybe I was reading wrong column, and today's is close (but still less if you add the units column) but plenty of shares I have looked at look ridiculously low. I just can not believe the figures we're given. Some look fine and some don't. Intermittent faults like this are the most frustrating. never mind it is the price that is the most important thing.
Re: ii's volume data Might be the effects of the heat Hardboy but the volume looks bob on today. The three 25k deals are pounds rather than units according to the trades. Cross checked volume on google and they have very similar number.
ii's volume data I sent them an e mail last night, but not had a response yet. Today's is wrong again - according to ii total traded volume was 26k, checking the trades page there were around 80 trades in total & 3 over 25k. I may not be the best at arithmetic in the world, but I do know that 3 x 25 does not equal 26.
Re: Hargreaves Landsdown showing 79,072 volume trades, with 522 as the last trades barring the after hours 520 catch up. LSE has same as iii 49,882 - 520 close high of 522.No new news as far as I can see apart from the news already out. The momentum still seems to be positive and higher.
Firstly what's gone on with iii's volume figures - a lot I've looked at look much too low. Looking at the trades page for Treatt t says daily volume 49k, but look at individual transactions and there are 6 of more than 20k. iii's figures are going wrong too often - specially if checking around market close. On the positive side - on a down day for markets, here's Treatt making a new high - having been over 520 during the day. So is there any specific reason for the renewed optimism?
Re: Perhaps a new logo? next stop the FTSE 250? asks LKH__________ __In yer dreams, m8 (and mine): current threshold is £750-odd m, compared to our £256m, so we'd have to triple AGAIN. Much more likely that Renishaw, currently 149th, will make it to the FTSE100 with a 50% increase in share price, or even Sirius, now 253rd, which would need to double to put on big boy trousers.
Re: Perhaps a new logo? Trigger,"Is the white T inside a dark green droplet not the new logo then? I thought the old logo was a white T inside a green circle with a grey drop at the crosspoint."Bai Jove, you're absolutely right, m8! Yes, the new website DOES also involve a new logo. And, as you imply, the kiss mob have cunningly taken the droplet that was sat at the intersection of the horizontal and vertical of the T in the old logo and used the droplet as the outer boundary of the new logo, with the T sat inside it. Looking at the old and the new with fresh eyes I like the new logo; I like it a lot. The old one was a bit fussy as the green circle meant sweet fa. Having the T and the droplet inside the green circle was a bit confusing and old-fashioned for anyone sad enough to spend any time lookin' at it, whereas the droplet with the T inside it, having only two elements is simpler and more modern. It also maintains a link with the old logo without departing too radically from it. It's a bit like the Shell logo, which has had a few iterations over the years but has remained consistently recognisable as it has changed slightly.I apologise to Demon and Hopey and the lads and lasses for not noticing that the new website has also involved a new logo.It looks like I can kiss [do you see what I did there?] goodbye to that drum of organic cocoa butter that I'd got my heart set on!LKH on the flybridge next stop the FTSE 250?
Re: Perhaps a new logo? "Now that Treatt has its fine new website, is it time to think of a new logo? The current one is a stylised T (for Treatt) sat in a drop of green oil. It's not bad but it's a bit old-fashioned, rather like the old website"--------Is the white T inside a dark green droplet not the new logo then? I thought the old logo was a white T inside a green circle with a grey drop at the crosspoint. Looks like this is the new brand refresh according to these chaps:[link] a nice new website though.
Re: Perhaps a new logo? Hardboy,"For those who remember it was a central capital T ... with the right hand horizontal bar in dots."Jaysus, yes, I DO remember it, m8. It was not unlike the current Treatt logo LOL except that the central capital T of the old BT logo looked like an Allen key for some reason ... probably because of the blobs I dunno."Let's hope if Treatt do decide to change their logo they just have a brainstorming session or competition for the employees (or shareholders?) and don't waste their money on expensive consultants who come up with something poor."An excellent idea, m8! They could offer a prize of a drum of their finest organic cocoa butter to the winner of the competition.LKH on the flybridge getting out his crayons and a sheet of A4
Re: Perhaps a new logo? Wow - what comes to mind is, "The future's bright.....the future's orange," but that's hardly appropriate. While on the subject of telecom companies and logos with a central T. I worked for BT shortly after it had been privatised (I actually think that's the wrong expression for a plc, but it is the accepted one) and they decided to change their logo. For those who remember it was a central capital T ([link] with the right hand horizontal bar in dots.So they got in a very expensive consultant to design a new logo. They wanted something which indicated the international side of the company. (And it was expensive since nearly every BT site had wall to wall carpet with the old logo - & BT were (after the crown the Church & I think British Rail at the time) the largest property owner in the UK. They came up with the warbling wufter - in red white & blue with the B every bit as prominent as the T. [link] was that more international than the old logo?Let's hope if Treatt do decide to change their logo they just have a brainstorming session or competition for the employees (or shareholders?) and don't waste their money on expensive consultants who come up with something poor.
Perhaps a new logo? Now that Treatt has its fine new website, is it time to think of a new logo? The current one is a stylised T (for Treatt) sat in a drop of green oil. It's not bad but it's a bit old-fashioned, rather like the old website. Some might say that, as Treatt doesn't sell its products directly to the public, its logo really isn't important so it would be a waste of money to develop a new one, but I think that, even if only for staff motivation, it would be worth thinking of updating it in order to reinforce the "new broom" effect of the new team, website, and (soon) the new shed.Just a thought; it's not worth throwing a lot of money at it.LKH on the flybridge
Re: New Treatt website ... excellent Wow what a great web site.Glad to be on board - sounds like an exciting future here!
New Treatt website ... excellent Treatt has recently produced a new website (still at www.treatt.com) which is a massive improvement on the old one and well worth looking at if one is a Treatt fan. It's refreshing that it does not aggrandise the board of directors, none of whose pictures are shown. Often a new website is an opportunity for the CEO to demonstrate what a damn fine fellow he is, so hats off to Demon and the lads for NOT plastering his image all over the site. One pedantic bleat .... in the Products section, under Citrus, there are a few words about Bergamot ... "It's popularity has steadily grown ..." No, no, no! It should read ... "Its popularity has steadily grown ..." You only use an apostrophe to signify a missing "i".[link] shall be watching to see how long it takes the Treatt webmeister to correct this (admittedly minor) solecism.LKH on the flybridge nothing gets past hi
Re: Volume Up again LKHCould be PI's but the volume pre and post results is pretty dramatic nearly 2 million today, transformative difference. Is that just PI's, its a lot of PI's.But you are correct no one is going above the larger holding threshold to trigger RNS, but its odd
Re: Volume Up again Over 2m shares traded today - - that's 4% of the total. That's a lot.And to think we used to think of this as being a lightly traded illiquid share!
