Re: short The company capitalises expenses on its balance sheet. In effect, its loss making, not profit making.
short Its 9th on the most shorted shares list today at 9.67%.. Although it is a frontline tech share its important to understand why its on the short list. There is more to this than the MD selling a bit. ROCE is sitting at 29% and it all looks pretty healthy...what am I missing ?

Re: Falling like a stone With a large amount of city shorts and red flags anyone buying this is very brave!
Re: Falling like a stone Down another 3%, how safe/profitable are they I wonder? Would like to buy back in as escaped (just) with a small profit but the internet of things is going to be very big wave and these may just be a stepping stone on the way?
Re: Falling like a stone Information given was FD ... sale post exercise of warrants @ 260p he sold 310 p .CEO ..Sold in May to repay secured loan ??
Re: Falling like a stone I'm guessing... Big sales recently by the CEO & Finance Director don't help History of being heavily shorted difficult to escape Computer virus stories within the media (of which the IoT is badly / not protected from)Don't currently hold any stock, but feel there is upside in the longer term, just waiting for things to turn...RM
Falling like a stone What's going on? This looks rather worrying.

Re: TCM's Real PR ratio is 95 I used to head up a large publishing company where development costs in Intellectual Property Assets were capitalised. This was pretty much the industry norm and justified on the grounds that should the company be sold then much if it's value was in the intellectual property rights.TCM's value will, quite rightly, also owe much to its IP. I have been an investors for a while and see TCM as a core holding amongst my 'Frontier Tech' sub portfolio.
TCM's Real PR ratio is 95 Correcting for TCM's "unusual" accounting shows that actually Telit is on a PE ratio of 95:[link] prophets.com/views/27933/the-telit-sea-of-red-flags
