Re: Watch the spike What is your reasoning behind this second prediction of 70p please.
Watch the spike I expect this to be 70p next week.
Thank you gentlemen I tap away on my iPhone. So I'm limited to how much I can say. I'm fine with my own personally holdings in this and many others stocks. Today's been an excellent day. I take a lot of risk. Makes me a gambler. I've been locked into afew stocks but as long they don't go bust I will wait for a spike and for them to come good. I've shared my views on a few boards. I've upset everyone on afpo. The term goat man had been created for me. I feel humbled and I've shared in the joke. Do I care about the negative comments? Nah. I'm here to enjoy trading without going bust. This stock will recover fast. So 70p is more than realistic. Why do people doubt it?
Re: Excellent recovery play A robust response and not without some merit. Over to Sir Singh to respond further here as I've said my piece in his defence and don't have religion on defending him.PS: Whether people listen to a word I say or not is entirely their business. Also I see myself as a medium to high risk speculator and not an investor and as such am guaranteed to get plenty wrong. That said I get plenty right too and offer that if anyone could be bothered checking back on my posting history they'll find more good calls than bad, especially this year..and my p+l proves that.
Re: Excellent recovery play You're entitled to your view same as me. I can only judge based on posts I have read not on others. On Monitise this joker posted a series of stupid and incoherent posts trying to talk the share up. He was wrong but that's fine, we all get a share wrong. But he also posted drivel about hearing a bid would be announced the next day at 10p etc. Not only a clearly untrue but also illegal (market abuse). Are you happy to stand behind someone who is a liar and breaks the law? If so, why? Are you related. And here he comes up with a utterly useless post that the shares will be 70p tomorrow. Based on what? His fantasy, clearly. The sort of mupp drivel which spoils these discussion boards for people interested in facts and worthwhile opinion. But you're happy to put your name to such garbage. So, as I said you're entitled to your view but if that's your stance, don't expect actual investors to take anything you say seriously.
Re: Excellent recovery play Hugh. from here and the monetise board - the only places our paths have crossed, I think?- you strike me as somewhat arrogant; but bulletin boards let us know very little about each other and so I apologise if that is inaccurate. Towards some balance to your last post: In Sir Singh's defence he has told us over on the LMI board that he has £40k in Lonmin at an average of early 40'sp and he hasn't sold any so far and it's now 220 odd p (and might well have plenty more upside to come) I make that a four bagger and up approx. £150k mark to market. So he'll easily absorb a few calls not going his way off the back of that.. and in fairness at least Monitise and Falanx have not gone to plan for him recently. (So far) But that's the way he rolls. I think Sir Singh sees the stock market like I do: plenty of high risk/speculative bets and a few big wins off the back dwarfing plenty of small losses.
Re: Excellent recovery play "Great to see you on board Sir Singh"Yes great for all those who enjoy a cheap laugh or wish for yet another demonstration of the sort of dim folk who often stalk these discussion boards.I wonder how he is getting on with Monitise "One of my largest holdings. I SAY BUY" and "10p takeover will be announced tomorrow morning". Those shares are now 2.5p and down over 90% since he tried to persuade others to buy in the hope of rescuing his own bum holding.
Re: Excellent recovery play Great to see you on board Sir Singh. Alas I don't think this is going to be anything like as straightforward a win as Lonmin though. If this went under 50p I wouldn't be shocked but if it went back to £1 in 2016 I wouldn't either. So not for widows and orphans but never boring and decent risk reward here, in my mind. The recent update was, I believe, better than plenty were expecting, but the market being forward looking clearly still sees lots of headwinds for Thomas Cook. I fully understand that and went back into this understanding that I may have to keep averaging down - at wide gaps- and toughing it out for potentially plenty of months... or even longer again... Also I'm back in here because I made a very healthy profit on the bounce from near bankruptcy a few years back, but got out far too early on that incredible rally and so see it as unfinished business... perhaps not the best reason to be back in but I also believe in the company/model and I like that Fosun takeover is always a possibility. Whatever, I'm betting with the houses money here. Good luck to all holders especially the goat man
Re: Excellent recovery play Hi HB, well that did make me laugh - many thanks.
Re: Excellent recovery play "I'm looking for 70p plus tomorrow" It's stupid posts like this which devalue a bulletin board. The same poster made very similar 'predictions' about Monitise, including that a takeover was about to be announced the next day. All wrong of course as the guy clearly knows precisely nowt, other than how to flap his lips.
Re: Excellent recovery play Well it didn't happen today but a good purchase by a non-exec brightened things up. Will mull this over at the weekend but also considering others. Good luck.
Re: Excellent recovery play I'm looking for 70p plus tomorrow. This is a massive recovery play.
Re: Excellent recovery play Whats your view on Brits holidaying at home now the £ is very weak and recession is about to hit us? Surely this can only be detrimental to all holiday companies including T Cook. Thought they were big in Turkey as well and nobody wants to go there now. Have been looking at this as a recovery play myself but not bought in yet - too nervous at the mom
Excellent recovery play Hold tight. I like this one a lot.In from 58p and took a gamble holding since last week. Great numbers and diversified product range. Good brand. Just in Greece and it's got some great resorts out here and around the world. It's a brand thing.
Re: Decent rally forming 76p this week is very optimistic and assumes I guess a continuing market rally. I see a correction shortly as think the market has been over exuberant last week
