Re: Remaining Bullish here . A chart and bit of TA would be good as I struggle to get my head round that kind of stuff. As for the peace and quite, I suspect the day traders have moved onto more profitable trades leaving us "boring" buy & hold shareholders to wait for the dividends to increase over the next few years (fingers crossed!)
Remaining Bullish here . Bit quiet on this bb . Might post my latest view/chart on this after the gym . Could have quite a long way to go here if am right . Surprised at the peace and quiet here lol
Re: 80p next stop. would not be surprised to see 120 in 2017 .
Re: 80p next stop. Eadwig "I'll see your 80p, and raise you to 85p."
Relief for Condor The ongoing Lufthansa dispute must be to the benefit of Condor. I hope TCG are taking full advantage.
China Development Bloomberg NewsNovember 29, 2016 8:47 PM EST November 30, 2016 65 AM ESTFosun Group, the Shanghai-based conglomerate backed by billionaire Guo Guangchang, is folding tourism and entertainment assets Thomas Cook Group Plc and Club Mediterranee SA into a new entity called Fosun Tourism and Culture Group. The new company was registered in September, and the changes are part of Fosuns restructuring, the conglomerate said in a statement posted to its WeChat account late Tuesday. The financial services, pharmaceuticals, leisure and property group is restructuring some assets after announcing more than $15 billion in overseas acquisitions since 2010 through August. Fosun said in August it was preparing to sell as much as 40 billion yuan ($5.8 billion) in assets as it focuses on raising its credit rating to above junk. Thomas Cook, Europes second-largest tour operator, has said it plans to make China a substantial part of its business in a bet that the worlds largest outbound tourism market can help make up for weakness in Europe, where travel has been depressed by terror attacks and the U.K.s vote to leave the European Union. Fosun said it expects the number of Chinese traveling outside the country to grow by as much as 20 percent annually.
Are we part ways into a strong uptick? Some good days in a down market recently is very encouraging (and it has bounced strongly since recent results update)Any chartists out there prepared to contribute here? (eg onedb1) I have a feeling now that it's comfortably clear of 80p that the charts will show that it can go meaningfully higher again from here? But this remains a tricky stock, so be careful.. eg on markets up this is often down and on markets down this is often up. That said I'll do one more top up if it passes 85p and am hoping for 100p by Christmas (But towards hedging I now have a stop for some at around 79p though )
Good results.80p nailed on Sir Singh? Dividend reinstatement is a strong statement. Results are very solid in what was a tricky year for tourism generally. This share should bounce from here, I expect/hop
Finals Results out next Wednesday btw I'm expecting they'll be solid. There has certainly been plenty of room created for some sort of bounce here !(But be careful; this is a tricky stock that could easily go lower still. High Risk / High reward stock.. bet accordingly)
Bodes well for TCG , hopefully.. [link]
may 2015 It is disgraceful that the company should treat its customers like this. At the very least pass on the compensation to the family. Never under estimate the public. I am told they are angry and the fall out will come. Avoid at all costs is my opinion. Tiger HOW RIGHT I WAS .
Should rise if Sharm is opened up Stating the obvious - I thought I heard this being deliberated in the press.
Re: what happened to the clown Were you missing him Hugh ? I've seen Sir Singh banned for period(s) before but he never goes away for long. This is S/P is ticking up nicely today.. so lets watch and see... like night follows day Sir Singh will be back calling 80p nailed on this week.. etc.. He's a funny guy.. Through all his ramping/deramping etc he's a decent stock picker though, I believeTCG Breaking £1 by Christmas is nailed on no doubt Sir Singh ? ( And if not you never said which Christmas!!)
Re: what happened to the clown Odd. All his posts had been removed when I looked but they're back now.
