Re: Am I worried? ...No I'm also in long term. Having ridden the volatility since the dark days here, I'm holding firm for a good while longer yet!
Re: Am I worried? ...No very positive and I agree 100% with you, wait till Orchard see's this post
Am I worried? ...No I'm not worried in the slightest. I could have sold at 160p with a 17% profit... But I didn't. TCG is reducing debt steadily and is still on track. Results soon... It will be a good year despite Tunisia etc. remember we always have an extraordinary event every year, volcanoes to terrorist attacks to harsh winters. TUI doing well.. EasyJet doing well... So.... I think TCG is too... Next year will be a bit harder due to competition but with oil dropping 51% in a year and looking to stay low.... The hedging for next few years will be ultra low. So... Buy at these prices! The whole stockmarket has burped... Fosun lost 30% of its value in China but are still committed to TCG... Volatility is TCG so use it. As for the doom masters in here you can ignore them.... I'm a in longterm and I still have a rewarding job. As I already receive a pension since 2004 I can sleep at night. TCG will get a re-rating.....
Re: down 28% Well seeing as there are only two of us in here - no harm done
Re: down 28% OK, well thanks anyway but I have to say that someone saying "it's a good time to buy" based on nothing but gut feeling is as useful and informative of someone else saying "it's a good time to sell" based on their own gut instinct i.e. of no use at all.
Re: down 28% It was just a gut feeling however I bought more shares and am sitting on a loss but TC are a strong company and number 2 in the package holiday market place, I talk to lots of travel agents and they report an upswing of bookings for 2016 even thought Tunisia & Turkey are suffering.Sorry still no financial analysis just a gut feeling for the future SPDavidT
Re: down 28% "its a good time to buy TC"Why is that? You don't offer any explanation or analysis to support that statement.
Re: down 28% I cannot understand why the SP is so low, Tui announced a drop in profit over the Tunisian problems the same as TC however the price went up - strange however its a good time to buy TC
Re: down 28% It's certainly disappointing right now. Hopefully we'll see the sp moving upwards in the next few months.I think that recent news events and euro economic issues have not helped. Hopefully the Fosun joint venture and agreement with Club Med will have a positive impact.
down 28% Down 28% is just over 2 months. Doesn't look good.I note that Uphill Struggle has gone rather quiet as a result (or maybe he got fired ...?)
Re: Q3 Results on Thursday I haven't noticed any broker downgrades after the prolonged PR incompetence a few weeks back, but this will be a first look at the damage. For a while the company was attracting the worst possible coverage and I'll be amazed if that didn't blow a hole in the bookings figures. People are quick to condemn and slow to think when that kind of bandwagon starts rolling. Waiting for the results before buying back in.
Q3 Results on Thursday Anyone got any predictions for what we might hear on Thursday? As always, I'm hoping for some positive numbers!
RNS out: They were not Director buys, they were selling.. Michael Heal sold 271,847 and Peter Fankhauser sold a total of 304,235.
resistance at 150
plus recent fall in crude oil should benefit all airlane and travel company
