Re: Bad Bad Bad yep dont think it could get any worse looking like my 70-80p target could be reached after all depends on the placing price i guess but if its currently 100p any investor will want a hefty discount.

Re: Bad Bad Bad You should have sold first thing and then buy back after the book build has finished and been announced. There won't be any premium paid. Placings are normally at discounts.Sub £1.00 is closing inImvho and please dyor

Bad Bad Bad I don't post often at all these days but have caught this mornings bad news on the Daily Bugle. My instant reaction is that the private investor will be left extremely bitter, twisted and resentful and feel completely frozen out on this one.1. They have watched the daily reduction in the share price and the falls accelerating more in recent weeks as some in the know either reduced or shorted the a@p out of it.2. They now face another dividend cut.3. Its a placing so they are excluded. £200 Million and not even a chance to participate.4. Its a Bookbuild. That says there will be a further drop as Institutions will not want to pay present pricing.5. Never mind Dunstone and Co will pick up cheap stock that the private investors could have had.6. Can only see selling today. I cannot see anyone buying at all today only to find a cheaper book building price in 2 or 3 days time. Its a complete mess, with complete disregard for existing private investors.Shorters paradise has just bee createdshugg1e might just see his number reached.Imvho and please dyor.

Re: Drop today from BBC :-Broadband provider TalkTalk is down more than 17% to 108p, largely it seems on the back of a cut in the target price to 90p by the broker Exane. It argues that broadband customers are increasingly seeking bargains, putting pressure on revenues across the industry.Exane says TalkTalk had been the main beneficiary of consumers downgrading, but that was is no longer the case: "Their trading momentum appears to have peaked, and their share of the discount market is coming under renewed pressure."In November TalkTalk spooked investors with a profit warning and cut the dividend.

Tosca Tosca's holdings up from 5.09% to 10.46%Looks like they've been quietly hoovering up shares on a pre-Christmas shopping spree. They obviously think there is value at these levels.

Jefferies Not agreeing with their view... but from Citywire:Jefferies predicts TalkTalk dividend cutJefferies is disappointed by the lack of progress at TalkTalk (TALK) and expects a dividend cut next year. Analyst Jerry Dellis reiterated his ‘underperform’ recommendation and reduced the target price from 125p to 95p. The shares fell 11.2% to 137.2p yesterday.Dellis downgraded the stock to underperform in February 2015 and he said not much had improved since then. ‘New tariffs are not delivering churn reduction as hoped, diluting earnings/free cashflow growth prospects,’ he said. ‘We remain heavily below consensus and expect TalkTalk to miss earnings guidance.’He added that bond covenants ‘threaten dividend capacity’ and that a ‘-40% dividend per share cut next year is the minimum requirement’. Re: TalkTalk to sell mobile operation There was a report in the ST that things not too good for the Dixons group. Apparently people are not changing their smart phones as often and the abolition of roaming charges has hurt.I guess when wages are static and inflation is going up that consumers are squeezed. Plus, changes in smartphones are pretty incremental these days.F
