DfT report into the viability of the former Plymouth Airport published today. The full Report, which is available at [link] concludes that a lack of demand and a short runway mean commercially viable passenger services could not be run out of the former Plymouth Airport site as it would remain "financially vulnerable" in a "high risk environment".
SUH has plans for developing the airport site for housing and commercial use.

Any news about the (ex) airport land?

Shareholder Tour April 2014. Conducted around the properties surrounding Sutton Harbour and the fish market. Also to new Marina at King Point. All very impressive and seemingly well managed. No meaningful news forthcoming about the land at what was Plymouth Airport. The day gave confidence in current management and staff.
