Re: Nice move today Finally we break the 390 ceiling which has operated for well over a year. The 'Trends and Targets' story below argued that a move through that should signal a rise to over 500p. My breath is baited.
Nice move today Good to see up 25p or 6.5% today to 4.00 / 4.10 spread.Maybe CRS increasing their stake from 6.6%

Struggling I am struggling to understand quite why this share is performing so poorly. It trades on half the PE of ITV and an even lower multiple of turnover. Yes it has some debt and its cash generation has been less impressive, but not to an extent to explain the absence of interest. Turnover in the shares has been almost non-existent in recent weeks, it's as though we are in a complete dead zone. Ultimately I would expect the value to come out, hence my ticking strong buy, though what will shake it out of the present lethargy I have no idea.
Re: Large sale I notice from watching over time that it can be a slow riser during the course of the day and agree it does move dramatically. I still think it was a buy. Lets see how high it reaches by market close. currently 3.75 - 3.80 - The Offer just moved up.GLTA
Re: Large sale Is it showing on adfvn as a sale? On 'Digital Look' it is a negotiated trade sell. Normally STVG price moves dramatically up and down by 10p on quite small volumes (1000s of shares). I would have thought 310,000 shares would have caused a very large movement, but there was almost no change.
Re: Large sale Hi oilovlam,I see that trade on adfvn but I would question whether it was a sale based on the share price movement since. ie 3.745 - 3.7975 spread.
Large sale Someone has had enough and sold 310,000 shares (£1.16m). I wonder what they have seen in the results that has prompted the sale. Were they expecting more?
Re: Results - Good I think value will be shown over time. All we need is a bid for ITV to see a true re-rating in STVG
Re: Results - Good Just looked back and seen my comments a year ago about pushing on to £4 on the good results. Instead we have flat-lined through the year. I'm not sure why there is such an apparent lack of interest in a very sound little business.
Re: Results - Good Only had a quick glance through so far but they certainly seem to be good. I'm a bit disappointed that the share price hasn't reacted more given this puts us on a single figure historic PE with the management sounding positive about 10%pa EPS growth over the next 3 years. Good to see the divi increased too, though that has never been the game here - as long as the debt is falling I can live without the income.Only immediate negative I can spot to hold the performance back is the ~£15m swing on the pension fund from surplus to deficit, but that is going to impact lots of companies in the near term given the absurdly low level of bond yields. It isn't a big enough deficit for them to need to take aggressive action to close it.
