Former CEO disengages Andy Hogarth steps down as NED, as he did at the end of last year from CEO, Has done very well for the company and for investors. He sold 2/3 of his shareholding of 1.5m in Jan and agreed then not to sell any more for 12 months. Only 500k left anyway. An interesting note is that a company like STAFF - not exactly top grade staffing and jobs but doing all the ones that are so important to the efficiency of the economy and everyday life - have a combined director and other grades shareholding of around 14% - 6% and 7% for the 2 sub groups respectively. Good to see skin in the business from those running it.Still a low PER and PEG; always SP subject to Brexit and immigration / movements within Europe, but regardless these jobs have to be done and STAFF are very good at doing them; still a low though VIP an improving Op Profit margin year by year. Ambitious targets from the new board (though not new managers to the company on the whole) and if STAFF does as well for the current board as they did for Hogarth then we will do well as shareholders. Can I say they are a strong BUY; not really because of the risk given above, but they are very flexible; they are growing in existing and new areas by organic growth and acquisition just when the government are running down some of the schemes. All in all, a very good and tightly run organisation. Prelims for calendar 2017 on the 24th January!!! What about that? An example to many other companies who struggle to make April, never mind Feb or March!

Hogarth sold you know! When he resigned from the CEO position at the Finals, he subsequently sold 2m shares at £10 per share. Did the right thing, didnt he? Although this is history, I don't see any comment about this on the BB - or have I missed it?
