Re: R Peresy Incidentally Hardboy, I suspect Clitheroekid may have already exchanged messages with Mr Persey.Over on the Motley Fool site, a really excellent outline of SRT was posted roughly a year ago. Clitheroekid said to the author (and shareholder) with the alias 'Dickscovered': "It would seem that you're in good company. I noticed that back in July a Mr Persey, from Devon, with a history of success in various farming businesses, acquired another 580,000 shares. "My suspicion is that Dickscovered (DS) might actually be Mr Persey (RP) himself!Reasons:- DS grows vegetables -> RP is likely a farmer- DS retired at 33 -> RP likely did too- DS went to Oxford -> RP may have schooled at King's in Taunton, a reasonable Oxbridge feeder- DS intimated he'd had direct discussions with Simon Tucker -> RP likely has too- DS displayed excellent knowledge (and continued monitoring) of the company -> RP likely would too- Dickscovered includes 'Dick', which is a common abbreviation for 'Richard'Could be way off base here but thought I'd share anyway
Re: R Peresy I suspect this is the Persey family in question, with 'Mr R Persey' likely being Richard on the left.[link] had a (very) quick search for a possible connection between the Persey and Tucker families but didn't find anything immediately. I guess there are pros and cons to either eventuality.Anyway, I too am delighted with both Simon's reassuring email response to Hardboy and his remarkable offer of a lengthy one-to-one telephone conversation with Clitheroekid. And well done to you both for chancing you arms with your requests. The delays to progress for SRT remain frustrating but, with the calendar now displaying '2016' rather than '2015', hopefully we will at least see vessel owners in the US start sending through a few boat loads of orders to keep us above water before the waves of larger orders elsewhere start hitting our shores.Either way, and I mean this, I can think of nobody else I would prefer at the helm than Simon Tucker. I sincerely hope his hard work pays off for him and all others involved.

Re: R Peresy "I was frankly astonished that any CEO should be willing to engage with a fairly minor shareholder like this"I've emailed the company a few times and always received a prompt and detailed response from Simon Tucker. Also, on his last webcast he made he point that shareholders are always welcome to visit the company. I'm tempted to take him up on that if I'm ever down that way. I think his shareholder communications and attitude towards them is excellent. But I take it you are no wiser about Mr R Persey than I am.
Re: R Peresy See my posts of 8 June and 13 February. Good to see him buying another 800,000.I emailed Simon Tucker in early December, asking if he knew of any explanation for the (as it was then) falling share price. It was far more in hope than expectation of a response, but to my surprise he emailed by return, saying he was tied up in a conference call but that if I wanted to speak to him he'd be available later that evening.I was frankly astonished that any CEO should be willing to engage with a fairly minor shareholder like this, but I took him at his word, and we spoke for about 40 minutes. I can only say that I felt inspired after the conversation. He was completely open, answered my questions completely straightforwardly and without the usual bullsh*t that one expects these days from senior management. He is evidently dedicated to the company and had a lot of very interesting - and quite exciting - information about new opportunities.I still, several weeks later, find it remarkable that such a busy man should give up a substantial chunk of his evening to talk about SRT with someone he had never heard of, and I was extremely grateful to him for having done so.Suffice it to say that I was impressed to the extent of investing a further sum well into five figures the following day at £0.204, and I firmly believe that this is a company with a very promising future.
