Ok so maybe not quite all positive news...Sunrise Resources Says Drilling Misses Silver Vein At Nevada ProjectMon, 24th Oct 2016 09:59LONDON (Alliance News) - Sunrise Resources on Monday said a "number of technical challenges" have hindered its drill programme at the Bay State silver project in Nevada, US.Shares in Sunrise were down 21% at 0.170 pence on Monday.The diversified mineral exploration and development company said the most recent underground sampling confirmed the high grade of material left behind in the Chihuahua Vein, and said the vein system was present at 300 metres from surface. This is below both the level of all historical workings and the lowest level of previous drilling.Alongside this, the vein system was silver-bearing at the 300-metre depth as well.However, Sunrise noted the technical challenges of the project which, although mostly resolved during the programme, affected the results.Sunrise said at the first hole in its programme, its interpretations of the data suggest the vein system was not penetrated, with the hole instead skimming the edge of the vein before dipping away from it.At the second hold, the new tooling system "worked well and hole deviation was not material", Sunrise said. However, the miner said no significant analytical results were obtained, and the vein system "does not appear to have been intersected"."As the vein was projected to this position both from above and below it seems likely that the vein is displaced at this point by faulting and that the hole did not reach the vein," Sunrise said.No significant analytical results were obtained at the third of the holes under the programme with further mapping and sampling of the Lincoln Vein system required before further drilling on this target can be considered."Notwithstanding these frustrations, Bay State remains a priority target amongst our diverse exploration portfolio," said Executive Chairman Patrick Cheetham.Hannah Boland; [email protected]; @HannahebolandCopyright 2016 Alliance News Limited. Good news... plummeting share price??? Can anyone explain why? From what I can see the news about the Bay State Silver project was all positive yet the share has dropped considerably. I'd have thought this news might have pushed this back towards 0.3 instead of back down to 0.15-0.19

However, having beeni in this share since before I needed to shave, and having read the recently released strategic overview, I'm confident that one day my decimal point will be accurate. I remember when this was Sunrise Diamonds and the price shot up to 6p a share! Patrick Cheetham has done this before and for me they seem to have many irons in the fire, any one of which could move this share price raplidy, especially the silver drilling results that are due in the next few weeks. Fingers crossed for some good news and a jump in the sp towards my decimals...

Nevada IM update "Should EP Minerals continue its lease agreement with Sunrise Resources at the County Line Diatomite Project after 02/06/2017 it must make an initial payment of US$450,000 to Sunrise. Should the project be developed Sunrise will receive a royalty, rasing the potential for regular cash flow for Sunrise."from Northland Capital on research tree

Price fluctuation Any idea why this price seems to be oscillating between 1.7ish to 2.25ish on the back of no news? I can't see any reason for the fluctuation?

During the period the Company signed a lease agreement for its County line Diatomite Project, intersected bonanza silver grades at the Bay State Silver Project and formed a new subsidiary, Westgold, which staked two new gold projects..." Northland Capital published a note about Sunrise this morning, it's up on Research Tree.

Yawn...... I wonder how many so called investers critical of the management could do a better job.Post your business plan here and lets see what your made of. If it's sound and the figures look good enough I am willing to consider giving support.You may need - A successful career history in the field of operation in the business, ability to attract funding from financial institutions, ability (as a result of your previous success) to live without salary until company profitability and many more skills.I started a company, operated it for 25 years and sold it on for a substantial profit enabling early retirement - so let me give the complainers a little advice - its not as easy as you think it is - try it and see.If someone wants to copy and paste onto the LSE site thats OK - cos they seem to complain the most.
