Forties Pipeline Cracked. Thank you dbatey. I had asked as i noticed we both sliced around same time around 9th October , looking again you might of gone a little before. So my question was tempted to take another slice ? i did not think of topping up maybe that were i go wrong ?

Forties Pipeline Cracked. @Ripley94 I am still in here. And now one of my larger holdings. Not tempted to top up though. There is probably more upside but the Bruce and Keith assets they are picking up are really on their last legs. With Keith due to retire next year (from memory) they will need some intervention to prolong its life. So until we know more about that then I think the price is more or less up to date. Rhum of course is a different category and could be really valuable. Their business is clearly transformed, but with an extra 110 staff, that is a significant cost base. So they need a clear plan for how they are going to generate sustainable income to justify this cost base. Otherwise they will just be taking on BP et al. liabilities. Which I am sure is why BP was happy to sell. More deals to be expected next year IMO. Pleased to see Erskine back too. And with Columbus finally moving forward there is room for optimism. But I worry they have taken on too much cost. Hopefully I am wrong and they can make decent profits. But they are bound to hit a few teething problems with such a transformation in such a short time. Columbus Finally sanctioned last week. It has only taken about 5 years! But with Erskine back online and BKR transaction due to complete by end of month it could well be a strong finish to the year. As long as the POO does not all of a cliff. Nice weekend all. DB

Forties Pipeline Cracked. SQZ … XXXX I see Zac Mir had this going up to 140 yesterday ( Tuesday ) … must of been before markets started falling in USA and here in the afternoon . Still above my sells on Monday .

Forties Pipeline Cracked. Sadly I top sliced last week. I felt the risk of the deal falling through because of sanctions was too high. But I was wrong, again. Sigh. But still a significant holder so I shouldn’t complain.

New BK deal Good sp strength coming into the closing stretch. A 1 month delay is not too surprising given the complexity and nothing in the big scheme of things. Only 5 weeks to go for sign off and we are suddenly a mid tier producer with four fields. Although of course that goes down to three very quickly when Keith is retired. DB

Forties Pipeline Cracked. SQZ… XXXX Took a slice @ 90p one of my largest holdings . Did not lift @ 86p four days back . Just looked at my post March / May i see no rush to top @ 66 it fell to 55 .

Forties Pipeline Cracked. SQZ… XXXXX This made its way back to 80 before levelling of last week . On Tuesday started rising again on Wednesday Zac Mir said high 80s it finished Friday still moving upwards @ 84p

Forties Pipeline Cracked. SQZ… XXXX Marksman remarked this has traded sideways for eight months ??? On looking at chart i can see why he made such a remark, after sharp rise to 66p 30th Nov 2017 it has moved between 60ish and 90 ish . But that swinging 50 %

Forties Pipeline Cracked. SQZ… XXXXX Can not trust graph on this site ( does not match my record above of May 11th share price ) It was even lower in June 2018 . Top riser today maybe heading back for 28 January 88p high.

New BK deal Agreed. It’s more about confidence in the main deal going ahead but the increased ownership of these assets is going to be massively profitable for Serica.

New BK deal Wow. Stunning deal announced this morning. Another 30ish percent of both B and K. But more importantly it is confirmation that the BKR transaction is still expected to complete by the end of this quarter. I thought something was afoot with the steady rise over the last few weeks but didn’t expect this. Great deal IMO. DB
