Re: Something strange with SP But t least they are fabricating something so, perhaps will have a pier wall to put it on soon! and the first crane will be onsite in next 6 months !
Re: Something strange with SP Yep makes you wonder why that wasn't sorted 6 months ago! Surprised not seen reclaimed land or trucks etc r cranes that have sourced for quay side! Very poor update. Announcements re customers wud b welcome. Here's hoping they get thier act together.
Re: Something strange with SP something strange when the latest upbeat pictures from the site look like something out of scrapheap challenge. Almost comical - sure someone with endless optimism will find something positive... almost looking forward to the next monsoon when things will quieten down again. LOL
Something strange with SP I have noticed trades over last day or so, that a majority of trades have been purchases but share price has dropped over 5 %, this morning 104,000 shares traded of which 27k are sales and the balances are purchases nearly 80,000 shares but sp price is down 1.45p or 3.37% Anyone know what is going on or how this could happen ? Progressive budget alot going on! Interesting article covers Budget developments to grow smart cities in particular section of report below[link] has previously spoken about building 100 smart cities. Do you see this as an opportunity for UK companies to participate in the infra story in India. The Delhi-Mumbai freight corridor should be ready by 2017 or 2018 and smart cities are being created along that corridor. A lot of work has happened.Infrastructure is the key to Indias growth. The Government is looking at infrastructure funds to be set up under the PPP model. The US is adopting three smart cities. They are also looking at setting up tax-free infra bonds that people can buy with a return of say seven per cent. KPMG has proposed to the Government about setting up a development infrastructure bank. When David Cameron came to India on his last visit he committed to spending US$1.5 billion on the Bangalore-Mumbai Corridor and I think there is a lot of work British companies can do if they work with DFID (the Department for International Development.)I think British contractors can come and do work on this corridor and bring high-tech engineering and other skills to India. Britain has many skills that could be useful to Indian companies. Now with royalties and FTS coming down they can benefit even more. Each project requires multi-billion dollar investments so there are opportunities for financial services.
Oecd report re growth in India Interesting report re growth in port traffic one of the major growth areas being coal to power many new power station projects. 40% of India's domestic production comes from Mumbai[link]
A Good week for SPL lets hope market starting to believe the finishing line in sight! Good volumes and nice to see sp slowly recovering, along way to go to £2.50 but a £1 by Christmas would be a great start. Good luck holdersSeagull
Re: Looks like market suddenly sure will have further delays as Monsoon season now but at least they are moving forward again and fingers crossed should be processing first cargos by late summer 2016 !
