Board Room Bust Up?? RNS says that Lars Rutegard is leaving with immediate effect.Curious correction re- unanimous recommendation from all of the directors being corrected to exclude Lars? It begs the question whether Lars disagreed with the recommendations and resigned? The recent significant fall in energy prices must work through as a large reduction in costs - but it also weakens the arguement to save costs by further insulating an existing house. The B
Preliminary Results Administration costs - impairment of goodwill (see note 10)- (5,000)Has anyone found note 10?
Re: Still Sinking 4.5-4.75p spread. ie the share price is now BELOW the open offer price. That does not look good if the buyers at 5p a share are not supporting the price at this level. i.e. They do not think that the shares are worth what they paid for them = things are still getting worse? The B
Still Sinking I noticed that the sell trade of 155.3k shares was at a price of 4.3p a share! One can now buy the shares at nominally 5p a share - the price that the fat cats bought in at.The price of oil has gone down, so the production costs should have fallen. ..but the savings from insulation will also be lower. I doubt is demand will really pick up until Europe recovers - as their surplus production must influence our market. So overall I still see little benefit from buying at the moment. The B
Preliminary Results They do no make good reading. Usual bumf of welcoming new investors and blaming the Government's insulation scheme. Over supply. They have been in the wrong markets, They are having to reduce costs but will lose capacity as a consequence. They have been losing money even before they take into account depreciation - I had previously thought that they would at least make money at the trading level - depreciation on assets (with cessation of business when it needs to be replaced) would have brought in cash and made use of the value locked into the assets. Alas SPGH could not even manage that. There is some glib talk of improved demand in the last quarter, but it is still early days. I do not recommend buying at this point. The B
