takeover At least that removes the cost of selling the shares. What a disaster they have been.

Big Drop Today - No News?? Drop from 3.25p to 2.38p mid price today - when the rest of the market soared! A huge fall with no explanation. Only clue is a sale of 1.3m shares at only 2.1p a share - ie being ditched at any price. The proceeds being a paltry £27.3k knocking £0.25m off the company's valuation. Agreed only 21.5m shares - this is about 6.1% holding. The company will almost certainly need to issue an RNS re someone's change in holding - and really ought to make a statement when the share price falls so much. After some more promising recent news - why should a major shareholder - who ought to know what is going on - decide to dump so many shares? The B

Relentless Retrace Today SPGH fell back again - now 3.62p. It seems to lurch when a big buyer comes along and then always slowly falls back. It is as there is a slow drip sale every so often and no-one want to buy.The B

Re: Director Share Purchases Amazement - 4.5-4.75p - huge jump. There was an RNS yesterday showing hat one of the big holders had increased their stake. I nearly posted to say that it was another good sign. Nearly back to the rights issue price! The B

Director Share Purchases Wow - the directors actually bought some shares. Typically 250k odd shares - that sounds an awful lot, but in real money terms that is just over £6k at 2.5p a share. A meaningful amount, but not a huge commitment. At least it is a small positive news item after lots of bad news.I once did some sums that said that SPGH would yield money even if they trade at a loss since so much had been written off or invested in equipment. ie converting investment back into cash and running the value of the assets down. However, the losses always seem to be so large that the cash draw down was getting swamped all of the time. Can the directors sense that they can now milk some cash out of the assets??So the share price rose and I am tempted to not post a 'sell' for once. The B

Final Results For Superglass these results weren't too bad. Normally they are desperately awful and these are just awful with a bit of hope for the future. Again we get the boring winge about Government energy schemes not delivering - I am getting a bit tired of this over worked excuse. At least they had a bit of cash at the end of the year and the second half had better performance. The big question is will SPGH make some money before the next building downturn? The B

The Writing is on the Wall? Now 2.25-2.5p. SPGH just seems to drift down in its usual historic manner. How long before they say that they need some more cash? The B

Re: Down Yet Again superglass is well known for being great quality in the trade.but many builders now use king span , which is like Styrofoam in regards to its appearance, instead of the quilt appearance of superglass.also I have scene many new brands on the market, it seems the eastern European builders are now bringing there own brands across the boarder.there is plenty of building going on but also plenty of competition. I think superglas had its day with the government subsidising people insulating there existing homes, that has probably peeked and fallen off now. damn shame for superglass investors.just my opinion.t

Down Yet Again Inevitably the share price has slipped further. 2.88p for the sale made today with silly spread of 2.75-3.5p. The one thing that seems consistent over the years and that is SPGH remains a walking disaster for shareholders and the light at the end of the tunnel always remains illusive. The building industry is going through the boom phase of its cycle - if SPGH cannot make money now then when will it?The B

Trading Statement Sounds like trying to put a positive spin after quite a few issues. On the positive side the outlook may look better, but with lower volumes despite a strong housing market makes me wonder if SPGH will reposition itself quickly enough before the next downturn? My feeling is that, whilst the current outlook may be improving, there is still no certainty that they will make enough profit to eventually be able to afford to pay a dividend. The B

End of Green Deal [link] Deal was supposed to have been the salvation for SuperGlass - it just became a failed excuse for SPGH for not performing. Even with the recent further fall in the share price, this announcement just further undermines SPGH share price. The B

Glug, glug, glug 4.0-4.25p, No now 3.75-4,25p The price has fallen again today on negligible trades. The sophisticated buyers would surely be supporting the price if they thought that I was worthwhile. It makes me wonder what is going wrong as house building has been better over the last year or so.Just checked the live price and it is now 3.75p-4.25p. Sounds like there is a big sell order and no one wants to trade??The B

Share price Still Slipping Mid price dropped from 4.5p to 4.38p today.I noticed a sale to 50k went through at 4p a share. No doubt by one of the 'sophisticated' investors who thought they were getting a bargain at 5p a share and is now 20% down on the deal. Does not bode well if 50k shares did not find a ready buyer and caused the share price to drop even further. The B

Re: Another Director Goes! Looks like there's also a huge split amongst shareholders too judging from the votes at the recent AGM, almost 50:50 on the resolutions. This board departure means that there is now no non exec representation, but there seems to be an overload of chiefs, does such a small company need an executive chairman, a CEO and an MD?, presumably this may explain the companies disjointed and schizophrenic nature.

Another Director Goes! Sounds like not is all well in the board room. Smells strogly like they have some real problems if the directors leave in droves. The B
