Sound Energy RNS today – beyond stupidity and desperation How much irony as the latest easy Brent post rings desperate. Surely you made enough on the walk back on the SP… blue sky’s are clear now so beat you close off positions … GSA hits soon
Sound Energy RNS today – beyond stupidity and desperation Thanks Richsoon. Slightly different on a mobile, but found it following your instructions.
Sound Energy RNS today – beyond stupidity and desperation Go to Preferences (top right of the screen, next to the circle with a letter in it) then go to Notifications. At the bottom of the list of the ignore facility. Just start writing the name of the person who you want to set on ignore in the bottom box and the name will pop up in a list.
Sound Energy RNS today – beyond stupidity and desperation The A1 prospect is not just Te-9 but a complete prospective field area. One well does not drain a whole field you need a number of wells depending on the size of the prospective field. I don’t profess to know a great deal about gas exploration but even I know that. The CPR was for the A1 prospect the final, exact position of the well is what’s just been decided. To call the SOU team stupid is disrespectful in the extreme and you’re post demonstrates your complete ineptitude in this subject. “Ignore†is too good a place for Sleazy Brent TP
Ground Works TE9 I guess it is the same rig doing all 3 holes ? so they just have to get some concrete down , a month and they will start drilling, they did say 3rd quarter from memory
Sound Energy RNS today – beyond stupidity and desperation Another flaw of ii’s new website is that I used to have Easybrent on ignore but that’s apparently no longer the case. Anyone know how to put posters on ignore again on this new platform?
Sound Energy RNS today – beyond stupidity and desperation Sound Energy CEO, James Parsons, is taking its PR strategy today to a new level of stupidity and desperation. Todays RNS informs its investor that the company have decided on a well location for TE-9 What dosent make any sense is that Sound Energy have already put out a “Final Competent Person’s Report: A1 Prospect (TE-9). To be able to perform a CPR report on a prospect technical people needs to model plenty of seismic data, with the location of the prospect and simulate in 3D what the prospect looks like, its inevitable in the process not to have a very clear idea where the well location will be for the process. -> Todays RNS shows several things: Sound Energy level of desperation to put out news to support the share price, before a possible capital increase (yes Sound doesn’t have enough money to drill the next exploration well, cover SG&A and nowhere near any money to finance development wells). Sound Energy management team, is by putting out these kinds of RNS really assuming that their shareholder and possible new investor are stupid, and that is a mistake. Companys should not assume that their shareholder is idiots.
Ground Works TE9 Location for te-9 decided. Partner approvals reqd then work starts. First of three this year. TP

Equity Raise Soon I would agree with Swindon41 that a fund raise is highly likely at this point. At Year End the accounts said that the business had available funds of 21m.Expenses of around 7m in the first half will have eaten into that and capital expenditure on drilling will take up a large chunk of the remainder. Too slim a financial situation for the BOD and an equity dilution must be on the cards soon. So how much and what price?II's will take a 20% discount at say 36pps and the raise will be 10-15M.All in my humble opinion of course but one thing I am sure of, past experience tells me that it is coming. When it does come, I am a buyer but I will keep my powder dry until then on SOU.
Re: Only place Morning BB, I thought I would chip in this morning as it is the last day of this particular BB and given the recent efforts of he kids managing fintech upgrades could be the last day for some time. There is no doubt in my mind that a capital raise is required, if for no other reason than to protect the drilling program from the risks associated with the Coro deal. BB you said there were scaremongers posting doubts about the strength of the companies balance sheet, we could have cleared this up at the FSC but unfortunately the company chose to censor my question on that subject so it never saw the light of day. There are three numbers in the Coro deal that are important to Sound investors - you can find them in section 3 Principal terms and section 6 para 15.13 of the supplementary admission document1 value of the resale of the Badile land2 value of VAT refund3 agreement of contingent liability for sundry costs possibly accruing post Badile withdrawal. The Badile land has an unaudited carrying value of £1.6mThe Vat receivables are valued at 4m EurosThe contingent liabilities are have been capped at £8.6m.I have been through this with JJ when he was up here in March and I pressed him on how the Sound PI were going to be kept informed of the progress of these elements. He was pretty non committal as a lot of the elements are fairly small but he did give an undertaking to inform via RNS when the Vat refund was received as that figure is significant. The contingent liabilities may or may not arise , some may already have been mitigated but the fact remains Sound have agreed warranties an liabilities between £0 and £8.6m and I cannot see how we would fund them contemporaneously with a drilling program that is going to utilise the bulk of our balance sheet.Common sense would indicate a capital raise to not only protect the drilling program , but, I would suggest raise some working capital to fully fund the testing.I am totally against a placing and at this stage in the game, the II are as much use as a chocolate teapot. Sound market themselves as a retail centric company and they should present themselves as such. To my mind the correct and fair way to proceed is via a rights issue where the existing shareholders , who have supported the company this far, are given the opportunity to fund its last few months in existence and benefit from whatever emerges from the drilling campaign. It might take a little more work from the company and their advisors but , as the advert goes, "we are worth it" are we not?I am hoping that the spate of RNS we are receiving are are all scone ( yes scone) related.BB your part of the world is famed for doggerel one of which ends with the lines "..... you may depend upon ityou will get a scone with nothing on it" Now take that sentiment forward to the fate of the PI in an under capitalised company.A perfect example of this was provide by Son of Sound (Echo) the other week. They had to do an emergency capital raise to raise £8.5m.The placing and subscription offer was conducted at a 17% discount to the closing price and a whopping 31.4% discount to the readmission placing price. The beneficiaries of this largess included existing II, some new II, large retail shareholders and the management of the company. The only stakeholders holding the scone with nothing on it were the private investors. We are told the reason for this is the stock market requirement for paperwork that requires an open period of 10 consecutive days to allow the PI to participate. We have been told that the reason for JP share plan starting when it did was due to the lack of such a window of opportunity appearing in the future in the Sound calendar.I do hope that this spate of announcements is an attempt to create such a window. As a PI I would gladly put my hand in my pocket to support the company at this stage.I just
Only place I envisage coming anytime soon will be Jak placing TP and Am I Dreaming on the naughty step for blatant ramping. Nice work guys, keep it going this is obviously influencing the sp to rise Swindon, I too hold an element of scepticism as to why we have so many RNS's all at once. Not sure a placing is required yet though. Consideration must be given to the possibility that this is Sounds way of attempting to reinstate some value to a share price which we have seen slipping from almost a pound, down to below 40p.At the end of the day we have all placed a bet on this company. In doing so we have all placed a degree of trust in the directors to generate a return on our "bets". Let's just let them get on with it in the way they think is best.I'm still heavily committed to the belief that my money is safer in this company than many others on AIM. I have derisked along the way and all my initial investment has now been recouped and a healthy profit of 170% has been left riding in my pension fund. With this in mind I think I can be forgiven for being bullish on Sound Energy B_B
European gas price London (Platts)--1 May 2018 626 am EDT/1026 GMTBP said Tuesday its average realized gas price in Europe jumped to $7.18/Mcf ($7.01/MMBtu) in the first quarter of 2018 -- a near three-year high -- as wholesale prices rallied due to periods of extreme cold weather. So the initial 60 million scf/day is worth ???Nice.TP, with 4 digits ( not candles) being mentioned by JP, I think the £10 party rather than £1 is closer to most LTHs hopes MM
Re: A placing near you? No great shakes if there is another fund raising. We've had a few in the past and I too suspect it would be oversubscribed.Things are starting to happen
Re: A placing near you? The placing will be oversubscribed - there will be one at some point - has probably already been agreed in principle ( forward planning ) The share price could get hit depending on where it is at the time of the news. I will buy more at some point the current price will not be hit that much if at all.
