Bargain Basement Time It is topping UP time here IMOAll the news from the Management Team seems positive.More news due from NZ and Canada I reckon and this will then move on UP.It looks like someone has had to cash in or has lost patience. This cannot go much lower and the People in the know bought in at 0.6pLets see if my purchase shows as a buy.Give it 9 months to 1 year and you will all be saying, how did I miss that one, IMO.All Aim is a gamble but this silly sp is just a bargain.GLA

Re: Directors Talk Video posted by Marab Jeez, you make one tiny mistake. At least with ADVFN you can change your mistakes, but thanks for rectifying the situation thehog. At least now I know there is someone else out there It did sound like the interview was saying the exact same thing as the last RNS – the rest of the funding does not look to be a problem for Tatu. Interesting that JP mentioned that world coal prices have not affected NZ coal prices much. The advantage of catering to a local market.

Directors Talk Video posted by Marab I'm reposting as Marab forgot to put a subject heading. You can't get the staff these days! JP on Directors talk video from two days ago.[link] the Directors Talk video.Funding for Tatu looks covered by the recent placing and indicated support from suppliers.Local coal prices higher than international prices.Work should start on Tatu construction in Q1 2016 but sadly the completion date was not mentioned. Personally I doubt that many people are more interested in the start date than the completion date.

Re: RNS OUT I agree nothing at all bad in the RNS and just look at those 1m buys.Someone knows a bargain when they see it.But all that Market mayhem today has had its effect on many AIM share prices.Lets face it this cannot go much lower.IMO the only way is UP..It is time to look at the Stars.GLA.

Re: RNS OUT Perhaps I've missed something DDD, but there is nothing bad in that RNS as far as I can tell.TH2

Re: RNS OUT The market response looks like we could get more warmth from burning share certs than using coal.It is bargain basement time IMO.Those that bought at 0.6p must be wondering, what is going on???GLA

RNS OUT Tatu Coal Project Update - Commencement of Bulk Sample WorkStrategic Minerals plc (AIM: SML; USOTC: SMCDY), the diversified mineral development and production company, announces that it has, through its 51 per cent owned subsidiary King Country Mining Limited, entered into contracts to produce a bulk sample from the Tatu Coal Project ("Tatu" on the North Island of New Zealand. The production of the bulk sample involves not only the extraction of the coal but also the establishment of some of the safety requirements associated with Tatu being an operating mine, and which will form part of the requirements for the future operation of the Tatu mine.A number of contractors are involved with the delivery of the bulk sample and work safety documentation and procedures, which is expected to cost approximately NZD $280,000 in total to produce. Once the bulk sample has been delivered, it will be tested by the Company's consultants and by potential clients to ensure its suitability for their processes. The Company is targeting completion of the bulk sample work and feasibility studies in sufficient time that construction of the mine can commence in Q1 2016, subject to positive market feedback and funding being secured. The Board is seeking to secure the funding for construction of the mine through its industry contacts and consultants, which may include joint ventures or debt and has now signed a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding with China Coal Technology Engineering Group (CCTEG) to provide pricing and funding options associated with both the mine equipment and operations.Managing Director John Peters said "The commencement of the production of the bulk sample is an important step in the delivery of an economically commercial coal mine at Tatu and we look forward to delivering samples to potential customers and finalising feasibility studies as soon as possible."I believe we are well positioned to progress the Tatu project and are in discussions with potential contractors, looking to undertake the construction and operation of the mine, to potentially finance the development of the project. The signing of the non-binding MOU with CCTEG reflects this progress"

Re: Proactive Investors Interview Excellent.JP has integrity and knows that SML is a sound investment. He also knows that investors are looking for dividends.Low risk local markets are his targets, with the existing Cobre project providing cash flow.Tatu looks a sound investment. Next we wait for news from China plus one other project..Well done roll on 2016.GLA.

Re: Trading Update - How About a Webcast Dan the biggest plus about the quarterly update imo is that we get one. There is no requirement for SML to issue one so I take it as a sign the SML want to keep their shareholders updated. While the idea of a Q and A webcast sounds like a good idea, we have to remember the negative effect of the AGM statement as a result of poor wording. A poorly worded answer in a webcast could be bad news for SML but I would strongly support questions being sent to JP to be answered in another Proactive type video. It looks like he has tried to clarify a few points in the latest video without having to go through the nomad filter.Looks like your charts were right as someone has just sold 750,000 shares which has certainly moved the SP. On the other hand it also means someone has bought 750,000 shares. One trade in two days must be a record even for SML.

Re: Trading Update - How About a Webcast Dandadan,I'm a great supporter of webcasts of this sort.TH2

DanDaDan 25 Jul 2015

Trading Update - How About a Webcast That Trading Update is due soon and should provide an insight view into the effect of the new management direction, plus that Cobre impact.Where is the 'Broker Note ' presentation to drum up interest? (April 2012????)I reckon that they should look at doing a Q & A Webcast as well. It would attract other investors and show us all that exciting times are ahead. It is time to use new technology to your advantage SML....My charts suggest that this sp is about to move.GLA.
