news 0.5M GBP raised SMA names Giles Clarke as chair, to raise GBP0.5m StockMarketWire | Wed, 23rd December 2015 - 07:22 Sovereign Mines of Africa has appointed Giles Clarke as chairman and Rupert Fraser as a non-executive director, both effective following completion of a GBP0.5m subscription. The company has raised GBP0.5m through a subscription of 500m new shares at a price of 0.1p each. Giles Clarke and Rupert Fraser have invested GBP0.1m and GBP0.125m respectively, in the subscription alongside existing and new shareholders, including existing director Nathan Steinberg.

Further to the announcement made by the Company on 26 October 2015 titled "Update on exclusivity period with potential partner", the Company announces that it remains in discussions with the potential partner with a view to reaching a formal agreement relating to the Company's Mandiana project. There can, at this time, be no guarantee that such an agreement will be entered into. A further announcement will be made in due course when a formal agreement is entered into or the discussions are terminated.

SMA being bought today I notice the highest ask is now 0.90p, as I type. SMA has been modestly but steadily bought today, with the result the ask is moving higher in time with every few buy trades - most of which are paying at or very close to the best ask.There's only a total of 600k shrs showing on each side of the bid/ask, although that in itself doesn't mean those can't be fed with more of the same, although the overall trend definitely seems to higher.m

Conde As the government is so closely associated with Sma I have a feeling they may be waiting for Conde to be sworn in before they announce the deal.
