Wake Up Call - BoD. It is the - Do what you do, do well theme - 'Keep processing, not digging' Project Echo looks great - improving PGM recovery efficiencies by adding secondary millingand flotation modules to existing operations so group cash cost fall from $470 to $300.That means that 60,000onz can produce at $1000onz a nice $60,000,000 less $18,000,000 a total of $42,000,000 pa.The Mcap of this company is just £21m, why is someone not pointing this out in the presentation. It looks like they are just forming a 'cash cow' that is lookin inward.IMO this BoD need some new blood to take SLP to the next stage of development. Are they just looking to tick over and semi retire then sell off SLP to the highest bidder? Have you identified your next tailings projects to keep up momentum? Are you looking to acquire any bargains in the current market? What about any project to diversify and earn more RANDS/$$$s?The Platinum bull run is about to start and even the Northam CEO recognises the signs. No industry digging means supply shortfalls. Platinum is going UP.The big shareholders should be asking you questions, unless the SLP BoD know that they already have a buyer lined UP?Major Shareholdings1 Africa Asia Capital 58,882,551 20.132 M&G Investment Management 28,247,500 9.663 Audley Capital 24,278,694 8.304 Majedie Asset Management 18,933,963 6.475 Hargreaves Lansdown 14,020,751 4.796 Miton Asset Management 13,927,315 4.767 Barclays Stockbrokers 10,928,351 3.748 TD Waterhouse 9,785,556 3.35 Total 179,004,681 61.20 Just look at the signs Mcap £21m and an income stream next year of £45m++ less production costs at $300 to $450 per onz.So what is the future dividend projection BoD?GLA.
UP The Company achieved a profit after income tax of $3.73 million - an improvement of 120% from $1.7 million in FY2015. General They will be buying back a lot more shares one think's
30th Aug Added a few more on expectation of good news next week.Lets see what happens next Tues - expecting that annual report as closed on Monday.GLA
Re: Report Due - End Aug Excellent comments charileeee.Yes I do hold both companies shares and look forward to a higher sp for both in the next few months. It does stirke me however that the SLP BoD are not as open as they could be at the moment. They also do not seem to embrace the communication technology skills that are available today. Unlike JLP.When the Miton sell off started why did they not act proactively eg start informing PIs about their solid track record and what they are doing to improve the share price. No webcast initiative and nothing about the likelyhood of a maiden dividend now or in the future. They seem to act like PIs are a necessary nusance, that should be fed information once maybe twice a year. It is 2016 and we all have access to instant communications. What are they doing about that ML fiasco and the Grasvally spin off. When times are tough the tough show their ability to improve, not help themselves to a nice share bonus.IMO that is why the Market undervalues this share. It is time for SLP to put its house in order and for the BoD to show its worth and integrity.I am keeping an eye out for that annual report around the 30th.IMO this Mcap is just too low, but the sp is what it is, being valued by Market sentiment and perception of its Managment.Come on SLP BoD prove me wrong or are you all'in semi retirement'. Just show us what you have been doing in the last year to improve this share price..GLA.
Report Due - End Aug It looks like JLP are going to outshine SLP in the next few months. That Hernic project is massive. So SLP will be seen as lagging behind on the 'tailings' front. This BoD must be waking UP soon, surely.....Where is that presentation showing us what you are doing to earn that annual share bonus.?GLA
Re: It is in the Chart DD - unfortunately SLP just isn't showing enough umph to break up, as I had hoped for - not sure why, but the market will do what it will do and it wont be told.
It is in the Chart Just look at the chart and follow that MACD.It is time to tick UP.......GLA
Re: Corporate Investor?. Just look at the GB Pound fall. This is an opportunity to snap up some real bargain companies especially if you get paid in $$$$$s. or even Euros......Now look at the Mcap of SLP it is around £23.5m.That makes its Mcap worth around $30m.It will make over $8m in a quarter. It looks to me like the Market has not done its sums.Platinum is also getting ready to surge again IMO.Just seen this news - Anglo American has come under pressure by its largest investor to sell its platinum mines to a state-backed vehicle. (They want to increase the price of Platinum with more state production control). Is this BoD being checked out by someone seeking a bargain company?...GLA.
Corporate Investor Presentation Due. Lets hope that the BoD will present some good facts in the next few weeks. We don't want anymore 'copy and paste' antics from that last document. What have you done to grow the SDO business and sort out that License fiasco news.We do not want to see comments like Grasvally will be sold - in the fullness of time and these are difficult times. What are you doing to offset that tax bill?Good Management manage their circumstances..Tell us what you have actually been doing to improve this sp and awarding yourselves those share bonuses. It should not take more than 2 weeks to get that together.Watching out for the end of August and the steady rise in this sp.GLA
Re: Waiting for the Bargain Dip. Will it go lower. Get ready for the confidence test.It looks like the MMs are walking this down on low volumes. 7.38 last night now 7.5p todayThat spread is even wider.I am getting ready to buy a few more when they dip it lower.Just look at the price of Platinum and the profits SLP can make. The bargain dip is what I have been waiting to see.GLA
Re: Waiting for the Bargain Dip. Looks like the GB pound is taking a mighty fall.(All of those summer holiday makers buying up their euros??).Platinum prices increasing and Rand hitting highs.SLP's produce is getting more and more valuable, every day.Follow the smart money into precious metals. Will those MMs dip the price today, like the lowly last trade last night??Waiting for those chart signs.......IMO someone wants these held for a reason.GLA
Re: Waiting for the Bargain Dip. If this continues going north at this rate I shouldbreak even in about 12 months -))))) we alwayslive in hope.
Re: Waiting for the Bargain Dip. Good to see platinum doing well, and SLP responding. Volatility still a factor, but so far volume suggests that there arent too many PIs who have SLP on their radar yet. Momentum will only pick up once more folks latch on, but interest in PMs seems to be growing - a new high (10p) would be very encouraging.
Re: Waiting for the Bargain Dip. Got in before this last move UP.Platinum heading North as well as palladium. It must be time for this BoD to take a business trip to London for their summer shopping. It sounds like they are not doing much else at the moment, to encourage a rise in this sp.Getting ready for a presentation and news on Grasvally.??This is still a great bargain, just look at the lowly Mcap.IMO this sp should be at least double But it is what it is..........GLA.
Re: Waiting for the Bargain Dip. I think you have missed yourchance one way for this nowand that's north
