Re: EPS NAV is is primary valuation metric, trading well above last September's NAV atm.
EPS From what I have understood the EPS is a WHOPPING £1.64 so its trading on a P/E of a very low 4.93 !!!
Re: Tomorrow Cracking results , market likes them too. Good reading this lunch time .
Re: Tomorrow It always takes me a bit of time to get my head round the figures of Property Shares (like the difference between Basic EPS & EPRA EPS) but on first glance these look very good, and the market certainly seems to like them.
Tomorrow After the run over the last month, let's hope tomorrow's results do not disappoint.
Re: Year end Obviously I'm pleased with the recent price surge, and British Land's results may explain today's continued strength; but I've followed SHB since the darkest days of 2008, and I don't recall them having such a prolonged strong run over so many days; and the current market sentiment is hardly strong on property, with talk of housing bubbles, the strong pound deterring foreign investors etc. so I am a little surprised and am trying to understand what is driving it. I've never quite got my head round valuing Property Shares, as the value of the company is more about its assets than its profits, so I'm not too sure how significant a low PE is, but it is obviously not a bad thing.
Re: Year end Sorry British Lands results not land Sec
Year end Results due out next week, looks like the market is expecting good news, hence the advancing price. Land Sec 6 months were out today and very strong, so lets hope SHB are in the same momentum.
ticking ahead Ticking up nicely and its only on a 7.93 p/e, so I think there is more to come
