Re: Sam Lee Up above 22% now - he's certainly upped his buying price. This could be the longest take over in history.

Re: Sam Lee And now over 21%

Re: Sam Lee And since then it's stayed pretty much above 950, and now he has over 20%. I would like the company to update shareholders on what they know about his intentions.

Hardboy 02 Jun 2017

Re: Sam Lee He's now got 19% - it's taken 3 months to hoover up the last 0.92% in which time it's only been around 900 for a very short time. However for him to have tipped the scales in the last couple of days, he must have been willing to up his buying price.

Shaftesbury Solid results, firm hold.

Sam Lee My theory about him hovering up shares at under £9 looks about right. When the share price was oscillating around £9 we were getting an RNS roughly every 2 weeks to say he's increased his holding by another 1%. Of late it has not dipped below £9; and we have not had a RNS for 7 weeks.

Re: Shaftesbury Thank you for this helpful information. I still hope that Chinatown part ownership will prove to be decisive. We hold and add on anything under about £9.25. Kind regards.

Re: Shaftesbury He already does own a fair size chunk of Central London - from Forbes; "Samuel Tak Lee's property empire stretches from Hong Kong and London to Geneva and Tokyo. The centerpiece is Langham Estate, a swath of prime retail and office space in London's West End, purchased by Lee in 1994. Since then he's built up his holdings to some 14 acres between the neighbourhoods of Soho and Mayfair."

Re: Shaftesbury But imagine being able to boast that you own a sizeable chunk of central London, including Chinatown!

Hardboy 10 Apr 2017

Re: Shaftesbury Interestingly I'm not sure what nationality Sam Lee is classed as. He was born in Hong Kong I believe, when it was not part of China. (He's done well since his Liverpool days!)

Shaftesbury Chinese investors will eventually find this irresistible.

Re: Press speculation at last ??? Sounds like the Sunday Times needs me on their books. I thought it was supposed to be a News paper. I've been following this story for 9 months.
