Re: Potential here Hi larry, yes we gold bugs have been shafted time and time again with the blatant manipulation on the price of gold. The Comex conmen have deliberately driven down the price of gold over the past years. The latest weekly report from the cftc however shows them running for the hills with their tails between their legs. All that previous shorting(shafting) had to end sometime and the figures out now show a huge shift in futures positions both for gold and silver. Every paper gold contract should have been backed by the same in physical supply in case anyone ever actually asked for delivery at the expiry date. As it was for every paper contract there was 280 claims on each bar/oz. So If all demanded delivery 279 would be left with nothing but paper. The Comex warehouses have been virtually emptied of registered gold. Depending on who you believe there is no real shortage of physical as there is a ready supply of eligible gold which can become registered. Im not convinced and you only need to look at Germanys request for repatriation of their gold from the US to smell a rat. Numbered gold bars showing third reich symbols have gone missing from supposed safe storage. The gold Germany got back was different to the gold they put in and they still are owed lots more in weight terms. How many rigged markets have come to light ? Banking, mortgages, forex, libor, insurance mis-selling. Do we believe those same nice people are being honest with us over gold ? Watch the price next week for the answ

Potential here Much upside potential here as the geology is the same as the N Ireland Dalradian Curraghinalt project which is showing amazing drill results and will be one of the top 7 gold producers in the world. The same geology extends to Newfoundland also. Dalradian share price 41p @ 125m shares issed. This is 0.6p with 5 times that at 1250m so that equates to 3.0p on the same basis. I think that makes this something called a no brainer.

comment Scotgold Says Cononish Study Sees Further "Highly Prospective" TargetsFri, 29th Jan 2016 107LONDON (Alliance News) - Scotgold Resources Ltd on Friday released the results of a study carried out by Consulting de Geología y Minería SL on the Cononish gold and silver project. The company is aiming to advance the Cononish project in Scotland's Grampian Highlands "to a production decision and exploration of the highly prospective tenements comprising the Grampian gold project with the view of identifying further project opportunities".The highlights included six "highly prospective" targets identified within 2.5 kilometres of the Cononish gold and silver project, as well as five further "highly prospective" targets outlined within the study area. The study highlighted the Beinn Udlaidh and Arrivain areas "in particular as having prospectivity at least comparable to the Cononish deposit" and further exploration work for these is being prioritised accordingly. It also indicated that structural analysis will be a "key tool" for the identification of "pay shoots" within the Cononish deposit. There it is expected to assist with future resource expansion at depth and along strike."Further work is now being planned to expand the collection of structural data and coverage of the prospectivity map regionally," Scotgold said.ch

Your CEO will be available for questions after the presentation , your chance to meet the man spending your money !The year that was :We had a significant resource upgrade with the M&I increasing 201% with the Gold grade increasing 9% to 14.3g/t We received approval for 24/6 processing , previously 16/6 We had an extremely good BFS with some very enviable production costs, £327 and some very high grades , ave LoM 11.8g/t Au Eq, with funding costs reduced to £18.5m with further reductions possible and savings of almost £1m due to currency rate changes We also noticed the word development in our Quarterly cash reports and later found out that this was for SGZ France & SGZ Portugal We also heard our CEO speak of Cononish 2, 3 and 4 and of the realistic LOM extension possible at Cononish in Presentations madeWe have seen the results of the Initial Structural survey which highlights 11 targets all in close proximity to CononishWe raised money via a private placing supposedly to sophisticated investors but in my opinion it was just another bucket shop which dragged us down but that lesson was learnedWe had a Rights issue which was oversubscribed when it included our oversees shareholdersSo that was that and what is to come in 2016:Well hopefully we will see news of funding in Q1Which of the 11 targets identified from the initial structural study will "WE" explore firstWhen will work begin at Cononish When will we have news of our european expansion and will anyone join us When will we see some gold What will be revealed at the Edinburgh PresentationHear's to a Happy New Year

News out in AUS I have been saying for years that the place is covered in Gold and this makes me look less mad , lol ! Makes for good reading !11 highly prospective targets - 6 highly prospective and within 2.5km of cononish and 5 more within the study area.

Re: Ambitious It would seem that there is no end to the ambition of Scotgold and that we are starting to see what Nat le Roux meant when he said "As a Scot I am pleased to be involved in this material step to the development of a significant Scottish gold mining industry." back on the 25th Feb 2014 when he took his first stake of 7.82% for 37,333,333 shares which he has now increased to 502,220,806 for 39.9% of the company. We have heard Richard Grey speak of Cononish 2,3 & 4 and of the not unreasonable expectation of the LOM extension of Cononish and of similar Cononish style deosits over our extensive Licence area in Scotland and now we are casting our net further afield with 3 Licence applications in France and 1 in Portugal .We are also involved with the European Commission and their quest to become mineral self sufficient which is a major achievement and another sting to our bow . For a long period of time the National Park was a thorn in our side but having jumped through hoops and ticked every box from every environmental group known to man we are now seeing what was once the problem now being the solution , Our Blue Print to go anywhere is being rolled out ! Our achievement in obtaining Planning Permission in the National Park will open doors just as our involvement with the European Commission will raise some eyebrows ! [link]

Ambitious Time to be honest guys and girls , other than me how many of you read our RNS's at least three times and attend every event that Scotgold are involved in ? Sad I know but it does reap its benefits .Lets start with a couple of Cash Flow Reports;Dec , Development $A 175,000Sept , Development $A 200,000I wonder what that Development was for ? Was it for Cononish , was it for something else ?From our Annual Report 2015 [link] Resources Limited SGZ France SAS Scotgold Resources PortugalSo you look on from there :The request filed by SGZ France is called "Olivet License" and covers an area of 373.5 km² and a term of five years. The request filed by SGZ allowed France is called "Penlan" and covers an area of 66 km² and a period of 5 years. The request filed by SGZ France is called "Vendrennes License" and covers an area of 303 km² and a term of five years.I'm still looking and I am still finding , more to come

From The News Going over all the News released :First off has to be this ;" Based on the earlier PFS, the Company has been offered indicative terms by leading banks to provide debt finance for the majority of the project’s funding requirement.Completion of this BFS facilitates the selection of the preferred finance route and the signing of a mandate with the selected institutions in near future "So it would appear that there was some truth in the Strathfillan Community Council meetings, talking of the CC minutes there was also supposed to be a meeting in the village hall which was postponed , rumour has it that the middle of November is penciled in for that meeting , the question is, is two weeks near future and is it just a rumour ? I have heard a few over the years Secondly;"The Company engaged the services of Dr. Pablo Gumiel and Dr. Mónica Arias of Consulting de Geología y Minería, S.L., to conduct a structural study of the Cononish deposit and Tyndrum area. Dr. Gumiel is an expert in structural geology and the structural control of mineral deposits with over 38 years' experience in research and mining exploration. Dr. Arias has over 15 years' experience as a specialist in database management of geological-mining data, Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and 3D geological modelling. Drs. Gumiel and Arias have spent 30 field days, over three 10 day periods in May, July and September 2015, collecting data in conjunction with the exploration team."We where told news on this would be in September ( See June Quarterly ) and that the Dr's had spent 20 days in the field in May and July , I presume that they found that much that they had to go back for a further 10 days in September, why else ? Can the whole place be covered in Gold as I have always said ? lol . When I was panning the streams I asked a very well known gent where was the best place to pan was , he laughed and said where you see water here you will find Gold , he wasn't wrong !"In addition, Drs. Gumiel and Arias have undertaken significant work to develop, and expand existing, structural models for both the Cononish deposit and the wider Tyndrum area. The study aims to bring the large volume of existing data together into one model, utilising all of the various datasets. When the ongoing review of the combined data model has been completed, this study will create a 'first pass' prospectivity model, utilising a set of structural and geochemical criteria that appear to control the distribution of gold across the Cononish/Tyndrum area. This model will be used to determine which areas have the highest likelihood of gold-bearing quartz veins being located. The structural and geochemical criteria used in the model will be tested and refined through field work and further understanding of the structural setting of the Cononish deposit. The controls for the Tyndrum area are anticipated to be applicable across the Grampian Project region and will therefore aid and focus regional exploration. Once the prospectivity modelling is complete, Scotgold will re-evaluate high grade outcrop samples identified by previous exploration close to the Cononish project.Stream sediment programIn order to advance its understanding of the regional setting, over the past four years, the Company has embarked on a regional stream sediment sampling program. To date more than 1100 stream sediment samples have been taken across the regional area with assay results returned for 1,055 samples (to end-September 2015). Analysis of the returned stream sediment data, in conjunction with work undertaken by Drs. Gumiel and Arias, has indicated the presence of a significant number of gold anomalies in the better covered Glen Orchy licence area and a number of anomalies throughout the other licence areas. Five key anomalies in the Knapdale licence area have been infilled and the results are currently awaited. Anomalies in Glen Lyon, Inverliever and Ochills require infill sampling to gain a g
