Re: Phillip Reid Hi Phillip,I am well. Yes I miss China. I am jealousy that you have a home in Nanning South China because I like warm weather. However I believe it is hard to find a very idea place according to different persons circumstance. My close ones are in Shanghai, and Wirral - my husband. His age and many illness, my age make me think that we are better less change. My husband likes Benidorm, warm winter plus they treat British (illness) same as their own citizen. I am concentrating more on higher yielding ftse stocks nowadays, Is yielding FTSE stock means the stock offers dividend? If I have enough money, I will have policy like you for this kind of stocks, but now I think if I use your/LK approach, the dividend collected will not significant. I will be returning there towards the end of this month. Safe journey, always take care (most people are good, but there few evil). Try to use taxi to a public place, near your home, then walk home. Long distance and long time walk may be not wise. My physiotherapy told me that we need reduce the strength of our physical activity as getting old. He said that he stop playing football after his 40s. I know you have a strong mind and do lots physical exercise. May be you be sensitive to what your body saying to you.The West has made a mess in the M/E, now pigeons (immigrants) are coming home to roost. Not only they want to come, the Germany Merkel makes things worse, she expressed welcome, Moral and league to come, what a mess and terrible consequence to EU and UK as well. From the voices shown on TV, 6 out of 10 say they want to come to UK. So 1st step Germany, 2nd Step UK. I have sisters and brother. I never initiate a proposal to them to come to UK, because the language problem is huge, more problems in their life, separate them from their love ones, . When you arrive in Nanning, please continue to post. I found that you are very sensitive and have reasonable views. All the best,FaPS: I hope SEV will have good news in 3 months. I will not sell at the bottom price. Buy, Buy. The Buy button cannot see. All the adv covers the webpage now days.
Re: Phillip Reid I don't care too much about the short term, other than it offering an attractive opportunity to top up. I can see these possibly falling further as some of the recent short term investors find their stop losses triggered. I have increased my long term holding by 2/3 over the last 10 days with largest purchase today. I am in for the long term but given Gideon Tahan's track record I won't be surprised if the business is sold in the next two or three years. (I don't call 2 or 3 years long term by the way.)
Re: Phillip Reid Hi on greenhill (Fa)Thanks for the tip(s). Good to have some reassurance about SEV, as I am also down quite a bit. I do believe in them long term though.Hope you are well. Don't you miss China? I will be returning there towards the end of this month.I am concentrating more on higher yielding ftse stocks nowadays, so it's good to see todays rises especially on TDSB, BG etc.I will have a closer look at these that you mention, but I think I was EDL a few years ago - in and out with a quick profit.BTW. I agree with all your comments about global situations. The West has made a mess in the M/E, now pigeons (immigrants) are coming home to roost.ATB
Phillip Reid I am glad that you are in SEV. Sept RNSs did not give sp a chance to up, so I guess the goods news would delay, how much? 1 months, 3 or 6 months? Not sure but sp reached bottom.I am in EDL, Edenville, its reached bottom and a bit up. The fundamental is EDL would get a licence of mining in 1 or 2 months. The China SEPCO, Tanzania Gov are all involved. There is money from $4bn Obama Powering Electricity fund. If you are interested, just read the last 3 RNS of EDL as start.I am in REM as well, hard to say, long term is good, short term is "dramatic", could up or could down.My long is REM, REM is a supplyer for Tesla, but REM is hard to say it would be dramatic up in short term, but you never know. My short term is EDL and SEV.
Bus ExhibitionCreated Bus ExhibitionCreated by BHX1 on LSE bb ( Posted on 30 Sept b4 see the RNS)As promised I visited the Bus and Coach show at the NEC.I managed to have a reasonably extensive and positive conversation with him (CEO) when he was on the Greenroad stand introducing myself as a shareholder. Below are a few of the pertinent observation -both his and mine.1 He was very careful (and quite rightly so) to emphasise that he could not provide commercially sensitive information to either me or any other interested investor -and that this would account for his being reluctant -other than in very general terms to release information on the status of his contract negotiations. From the outset he was quite clear that there are a number of decisions upon which he awaits - which would appear to be "very close". He did not indicate the names of the companies or their value /size -but to confirm -they are very substantial and could impact on the fortunes of SEV within the UK.2.He confirmed that his key area of interest/experience was in security -hence his going to Japan on Sunday for the world security exhibition which SEV in itself exhibiting. There he will be concentrating on all his varied contacts worldwide -which I believe to be substantial. He may in fact detour via New Zealand.3.He confirmed -and was slightly apologetic about the fund raising last week -but stated "there is a very good reason" -I did not push him on this other than to say that IMHO Beaufort leave a great deal to be desired and are unimpressive.4.Overall -and here I will reiterate Wad's perception he struck me as very very professional -well connected -not a salesman but an engineer who understands his market and is well placed for the future.I hope this helps. Let me know if you require any further amplification.Ian..................................................................PS: my view, I am in this with deep red (AVG is 4.75p). The company has products, the clients want the new vision one, latest one, so sell not good, me think. Also the global economy makes companies less willingness to commit the purchase unless it is very necessity. Plus I have gut that the company is lack of ability in opening up the market. The interim result net loss is terrible, but some PIs think open up Manchester office ... cost money. Any way this price is not for sell SEV shares.
Re: Bullish for the future I have bought more this morning Phil.I will be surprised if you are still out of pocket in a couple of years. As to the inst and large shareholders, I suspect they have asked for more shares for their investment simply because they can. I was more surprised when the previous placements were at such a premium.
Re: Bullish for the future Hi RogerI always respect what you say, so it makes me wonder why, this time, they have to go to such a discount. Do the instis and other large holders not have the confidence that they used to have? If not, why not? Am I missing something/ Am sitting on about 35% loss at present.
Re: Bullish for the future Previous fund raisings have been done at a hefty premium Phil and I have been always happy to have been able to buy my shares at a heavy discount to that.Whilst it would have been nice to see them again pay over the odds, I will certainly be buying more at the current price.I like this company a lot!
Re: Bullish for the future @ mantrova"We believe the prospects for the remainder of 2015 and into 2016 are very promising for the Company."I hope they have belief in the prospects of the company for a much longer time period than that - poor choice of words.Very disappointed that they have had to offer such a discount to be able to do a fund raising op.I believe that they have a company that has great potential for the future - would like to see them spell it out properly.
Bullish for the future Not an expensive share with some good optimism of the future."Gidon Tahan, Chairman and CEO of SerVision, commented, "I am pleased to announce the Company has successfully raised this significant amount of new funding to fulfil its rapidly expanding order book. Over the past 12 months we have seen an encouraging growth in our pipeline, especially in the UK market, which is being served by our new Manchester based office and management team. We believe the prospects for the remainder of 2015 and into 2016 are very promising for the Company."per RNS, today.m
