Having difficulty exercising my right to take part in the OO. II webpage wont process my order and a phone call to II resulted in a long winded message about how to retrieve my forgotten password (totally irrelevant) followed by a 10 minute wait and no response. Ringing from abroad so thats not funny !Secure message marked URGENT has got no response so far.Broker failure should not be allowed. They say theyre busy ! So am I, but they expect me to hang around whilst they faff about and dont answer the phone! If theyd got their act together before they switched to this new platform perhaps they wouldnt have so many complaints and problems to deal with, leaving their operators adequate time to do their proper job which is STOCK BROKING !!!!!TP
Re: Offer I've also taken up the offer to double up as in my experience the SP goes up during are soon after (as it has started to do now). Also, no dealing charges or bid offer spread.
Re: Offer I've opted to increase my holding via the offer, hopefully my choice will turn out to be wise.
Offer Take it or buy in the market? Once the offer is done will the SP take off?
Re: Ssshhh 3yr high [link] range looks very good.
Re: Big Placing Just re read the offer to 'Certain' other shareholders and wondered what that meant.Well, the General meeting notice says: Offer - an offer to existing shareholders with registered addresses in the United Kingdom, Isle of Man or Ireland(to whom Ordinary Shares may be issued without a prospectus or other disclosure document under the applicablelaws) to subscribe for new Ordinary Shares. The maximum to be raised under the Offer is £2.4 million. So if you live in the US and own shares you don't take part in the offer. I own mine via Hargreaves so fingers crossed.
Re: Big Placing Ah. That's good news. As i say it does annoy me when you dont get the chance to top up at the same rate as the institutions. I could understand in the days when technology made it a costly exercise but its cheap and easy to do so now and shows that the directors care for the smaller investors.
Re: Big Placing Aha! Sorry, cs, youre right, I missed one of the zeros on your total holding !Good move, Ive done the same (roughly 10% of my holding which is a bit less than yours)Hopefully terms will be announced soon. If not I might be tempted to put the money into HYR. )TP
Re: Big Placing Think you you mis-read my figures tp only sold 10% hoping for around 1:10 buy back or better seems no brainer really but been wrong before, a crystal ball that works would be nice but this share just ticks all the boxes.B
Re: Big Placing Bit risky, cs, particularly as the terms of the offer havent yet been announced. If its, say, 1:5, and your excess is scaled back you might end up short changed. But as a strategy it might be worth trading a smaller %age of ones holding.Fingers crossed for a 1:1.And undersubscribed excesses )TP
Re: Big Placing You have been included if you was a shareholder at record date 6pm 4th December you will be included in the open offer terms not yet stated. This for anyone reading very good news and the largest shareholder wants to keep his stake at the same percentage so strong buy in my opinion. (But have sold 30000 of my 330000 holding hoping the terms of offer i can buy them back cheaper}Best regards CS
Re: Big Placing Whilst I agree with you to a degree I am also really annoyed that the share offer was not made made available to all share holders. Appreciating the extra cost of this but at the same time its not particularly hard. Leaves a foul taste in the mouth despite 5 p being well above my average buy in price.I foresee a share consolidation on the way.Im still confident we will see a move in the share price towards 10p during 2018.
Re: Big Placing Given the huge projected increases in revenue from its products announced in recent updates, its hardly surprising they need more cash to scale up production, r&d, and sales/service teams. This should be seen as positive news because, although there are more shares, theres more revenue per share. If it all pans out we should have increased eps as a result of the increased investment.Speculate to accumulate, and all that ))TP
Re: Big Placing Join the club 10Bob - this constant dilution over time plays havoc with the SP and I have suffered badly like you with other AIM ventures. At least I have more than covered my losses with this one but time to pull out methinks as SP could erode further over next few months and it's never wrong to take a profit...
Re: Big Placing That's the third time this year I've been shafted on AIM with a discounted placing just as the new flow gets good. At least each time the placing has been above my average, but it does infuriate me when they dilute away my upside. I'm kinda done with AIM. This is one of the few holdings I've retained and I'm probably done with this lot now as well.
