stock picking doubts contrarian investing ? i'm having a few doubts ! today 2 our top ten holdings are being thumped (Standard Chartered /M&S ) and it has to be said overall our performance is deteriorating again .i'm close to having had enough......give me a reason to hold ,anybody?

we're doing ok no longer propping up the global investment trust table.......2/24 over 12 months ....up 33.6% ....trading @10.6% discount .the $/£ rate and record highs for the dow has been a big help .i'll take that.....seasons greetings to all
